10/11/2019

Good morning everyone. We are here in Dalton, Georgia and I am hoping to go home today back to Tennessee. We have been here since Sunday night visiting and it has been somewhat relaxing for me. My friend has no one here to help him around the house so my husband and I have been helping him. I got the house cleaned up and all the laundry done and caught up while my husband helped put carpet tiles down in the back bedrooms.
We thought we were taking an RV home with us, but as my husband was driving it back here, the carburetor caught the breather on fire. Yesterday, he changed the spark plugs and wires, plus cleaned out the carburetor, but after the tow fee we are completely broke and no money for gas for it or any of our other bills that are due for the rest of the month.
He made the decision to buy it and I just wanted to support him like he does me with my decisions even when I don't agree with them. Now, it has cost us everything and we go home empty-handed until next month when the bills will be doubled up on us to catch them up next month.
With all this happening, it puts my restaurant idea on the back burner when we could have been earning more money.
My husband is still asleep right now and when he wakes up and has his coffee we need to load everything up and get on the road going home. We were supposed to be going to spend time with his sister while we were here, but now he doesn't want to do that because he is bummed out because of his decision.
I have only gotten a little writing done since we have been here because of cleaning and taking care of things around here, but when we get home, I will get back into my schedule of getting my writing done. I just published my first children's ebook yesterday and hopefully, it takes off as well as some other books that I have published. I have broken the forty-five thousand words in the book I have been working on and it feels good.
Well, it is time to work on some other things before we leave so I will say to everyone, "Happy Friday" and that everyone has an awesome day. "Happy Birthday" to those celebrating today and may you have many more to come. Please keep the homeless in your thoughts and prayers now that colder weather is setting in. Take care.

Good afternoon everyone. It is one thirty here in Bethel Springs, Tennessee and such a lovely day outside. The sun comes and goes and there is a nice wind blowing. It is great for working outside which we have been doing since we had coffee this morning. We have been outside clearing more trees and moving the branches to the burn pit except we can’t burn today because of the wind blowing.
We are now inside, and my husband is laying down playing with the puppies while I sit here and work on my writing. I finished writing my first children’s book yesterday and it is being edited as we speak. It is a Christian book about the parables of Jesus Christ. I was excited to have it finished and can’t wait to publish it.
We have almost cleared out the section of the property that will be for my gardens and greenhouse which I will be excited to get planting this next year. I will be planting some fruit trees and I know that they will take a couple of years to produce any fruit but that is okay, it will be worth the wait.
I am getting excited about my new business venture and can’t wait to get my food manager training done and I already have the EIN number for it and then comes the business license and tax registration with the state. It will be easy for me because I went through a lot of this when starting our nonprofit which will have a better year this coming one.
Things have been slow with it since losing our Treasurer to lung cancer. She was a rock to fall on when I would get frustrated about things. I miss her so much, but things must keep going. We have been putting a game plan together for bringing in funding next year to get things rolling again. We still have our one project to think about and get funding in for it, so I have a lot on my plate, but God will help me manage. He knows that I can handle it.
Well, I need to get my writing started for the day if I am going to make my goal for the day. I hope everyone has a great Friday and “Happy Birthday” to those of you who are another year older. May you all have many more years to come. Please keep praying for the homeless and for our project Pathways to Self- Sufficiency and that we get the funding needed to get it off the ground and the homeless in somewhere safe. It is a program that many have asked us for to help them get off the streets and back to work, so keep it in your thoughts and prayers. Take care.

Good morning to all. It is now almost nine-thirty in the morning here with a very overcast look and feel outside. It did sprinkle a little but not much and we are sitting here drinking out coffee and my husband is playing with the dogs.
We went to Bible study last night and my husband even participated in the question and answer part which I thought was very cool. I think he learned quite a bit last night because he has been working on himself and making some changes within himself. I love and appreciate the way he is trying to live right and for God.
It looks like it will be a day off today because of the thought of rain, but I can still do some cleanup around the property. We walked the property yesterday and picked up all the trash, but I still have some raking around the house to do.
My dad called me two days ago and he is in Tennessee doing some visiting and stated that he might get a chance to come pay us a visit on their way back to Montana. My dad is my rock and I love him so much. He has always been there for me when I needed him since I became an adult. I wish I could spend more time with him, but we live states away from each other.
Well, it is time to get to work. I have eight more parables to write before Bible study tonight because one of the women are going to translate them for me so that I can publish the book for children. I am still working on my one book and I just broke the forty thousand word limit on it and it is getting to the good point of the story, which it is all good, but I love the way it is going to end.
So, I wish for everyone a blessed day and a “Happy Birthday” to everyone who is another year older today. May you have many more to come. Please keep the homeless in your thoughts and prayers now that fall is getting close and it is getting chilly outside. Have a great day. Take care.

Good morning everyone. It is eight thirty-nine in the morning here in Bethel Springs, Tennessee and very beautiful outside. We haven’t been up long and are waiting on the coffee to finish. We have our game plan for the day set in stone and will be working some today on the property. I will be doing some weed eating while my husband brush cuts some of the remaining area left for the garden and orchard.
I slept pretty good last night but it did get a bit chilly in here to where all the dogs plus the two of us were covered up under the blankets to keep warm. I am hoping and praying that God will bless my business adventure to where we can get our wood-burning stove earlier than December.
That is when our finances will allow for it as they are right now, but with God all things are possible. I drove past the area where we will be set up at and there was someone else there selling food from a pull-behind trailer. When I told my husband about it, he asked why we would do any better than them and I told him because we have God on our side.
This will be a short post so that we can conserve generator gas for the next week. I hope everyone is having a blessed week so far. I want to wish a “Happy Birthday” to everyone with a birthday today and please, please everyone keep the homeless in your thoughts and prayers. Take care.

Good morning everyone. It is nine twenty-seven in the morning and we are sitting here in the back doctor’s office awaiting our appointments. It is very cloudy outside and even looks like it might rain. I can feel it in my bones. This morning my tailbone is burning and has been aching since my epidural. I don’t think it took, but then again some of it might have because my hips are not aching so much, just the tailbone.
When we get home, we might try to attempt to weed eat the back yard behind the house and around the outhouse. We try to keep it pretty clean and well looking around the property because we are not slobs and I love to have nice things if I can afford them.
I have been working on the flyer for my business and I am anxious about getting it going and hoping that God will bless and make it prosperous. We shared a good night last night cooking hot dogs outside over a camp fire at the burn pit and then sat outside by a camp fire enjoying the evening with the dogs.
Before going to bed, my husband stated that we couldn’t go to bed yet before saying a prayer together. It was shocking to me at first, but we did pretty good. He has been watching and working on his swearing which is good and I love him so much for it.
Well, it is time for me to get ready to be called back, so I wish everyone a “Happy Monday” and a blessed one. “Happy Birthday” to everyone celebrating today and may you be blessed to have many more. Please keep the homeless in your thoughts and prayers. Take care.

Hello everyone. It is two o’clock in the afternoon here in Bethel Springs, Tennessee and very windy today. WE just got back from church and it was a good service. I felt the presence of God there today and had such a release I just can’t put into words. My husband went with me and I am not sure of how he felt or how to even put into words what he said to me, but not everyone feels the same thing.
I came home and swept the floor and did some note taking for the business I am going to adventure into. I am excited about it and pray that God will bless it for our good and His glory. I have been working numbers almost all week getting everything into perspective and ready for it.
I feel today will be a productive day for me since I am first, sitting here writing about my life to you fine people. I love sharing the good with the bad with everyone, so that people see that I have issues just like everyone else.
Well, today will e a short post since I have so much to do today. I wish for everyone to have a blessed day and for those turning another year older today, “Happy Birthday” Please keep the homeless in your thoughts and prayers because no one should have to live like they do. Please pray for them or even go out and touch one’s heart today. Take care.

Good morning everyone. It is eight thirteen in the morning here in Bethel Springs, Tennessee and a beautifully breezy morning. We are just getting up and having our first cup of coffee together and my husband is playing with the dogs which means he woke up in a good mood. Myself, I am trying to wake up and as far as my pain level goes, it is good this morning after my procedure yesterday.
I am a little sore where the needles went in, but my tailbone and hips are not hurting this morning. I am happy with that because they are my biggest problem. When my hips hurt and ache, I can’t stand to do anything and laying down is very hard, so having my epidural will give me at least eight to ten days of no pain in that region.
Since we took the road trip yesterday, it is usually a day off the next day, but my husband does f=get bored and goes out and works on the property. Today it is too breezy to burn any brush so he will find something else to do to keep progress going because for a couple days I cannot bend or lift anything. That is usually my downfall because I hate it when I can’t go out and help work the property, but it will give me a few days to concentrate on just writing.
I have plenty of writing to do, so let me get to it and I want to send wishes for everyone to have a blessed Friday and don’t work too hard because the weekend is here. “Happy Birthday” to those of you celebrating today and may you have many more. Please keep the homeless in your thoughts and prayers. Take care.

Hello everyone. I am writing this post as we drive the five hour trip to my doctor’s appointment for my procedure. It is such a beautiful day but there is a lot of wind shear against the car. I woke up late this morning but we are still making good time. We should be getting there about an hour early as long as the traffic remains the same.
`I am hoping that I will not sleep the rest of the day and only for the trip home. There are so many things that I have to do with my writing. I have been working on several different books and have a children’s book done that needs the pictures created which I will do myself. I have drawn all my life and I am pretty good at it and these pictures are pretty simple.
We will be finishing up our brush burning tomorrow and then it is back to finishing the area that is needed for planting which is not a whole lot more. I want to be ready for planting season this next year and that will put us a few months ahead of schedule.
I am still going to finish going over the plans for the new adventure and make sure it is all feasible and can be done. It is a risky adventure because it involves some bill money being spent elsewhere and if we don’t make that money back it could hurt us, but I think we can do it. It is to help supplement our income so that we can get out from under something that is hindering my release to God.
Well, we are almost home and I need to get everything ready to unpack the car and let my dogs outside. I wish a wonderful day for everyone ad many blessings to come. “Happy Birthday” to those of you who are another year older and may you have many more. Please keep the homeless in your prayers ad thoughts. Take care.

Good afternoon everyone. It is going on six o’clock in the evening here in Bethel Springs, Tennessee and it has been a hot one today. Right now, it is ninety- five degrees and a little breezy. This morning we got up a little late and had coffee before going out to our burn pit and burning another two stacks of brush.
Right now, my husband is sleeping due to him having to drive ten hours in the morning to get me to my epidural procedure in Dalton, Georgia. I can’t drive because I have to take a valium and pain medicine in the morning, so I would not be safe to drive.
After burning brush, I came in to begin working on my writing, but got stuck working on another project to which I just finished. We are going to start another adventure to help us with a little extra income to help us get back on track financially. It has its risks, but I feel confident about it and with most things you always want to start out small.
Yesterday, we met with one of the pastors at the church that I attend because my husband had questions that needed to be answered. Well, let’s just say he is going to Bible study with me in a little while and we will see how it goes from there. I pray for him daily that God will open his spiritual eyes to know that He is real. We’ll see.
I will post again in the morning during the drive to Dalton, but I can’t guarantee that I will post anything for Friday, I will try. I will be making this post short because it is time to get ready for Bible Study, so I wish a pleasant evening for everyone and a “Happy Birthday” to all of you who are another year older and you know who you are. Keep the homeless in your prayers and thoughts. Take care.

Good morning to everyone. It is eight o’clock in the morning here I Bethel Springs, Tennessee. I have been up for a few minutes and my husband is making the coffee. I feel pretty good about the day ahead and look forward to getting more stuff done today in writing.
I have not been stressed out since coming home from church on Sunday, which is a good thing, especially for me. I am usually the one who stresses the most. My husband and I have rekindled our hearts and togetherness here lately where we are back to playing around and flirting with one another. I love him so much.
We were going to burn some remaining brush today, but he woke up with his back hurting him, so I think it will be a day off for him, but not for me because I have a lot of writing to do and catch up on. I went to the library here yesterday and got a library card as well as checked out a stack of books. Some of them are refresher books that I need refreshing on and others are new information for me.
Well, the coffee is done and I want to spend a few minutes with my husband while drinking coffee before my face gets stuck in this computer writing. I hope that everyone has a wonderful day full of blessings and “Happy Birthday” to those who are celebrating today. May you all have many more years to come. Please keep the homeless in your thoughts and prayers. Take care.

Good morning everyone. “Happy Monday!” It is eight o’clock in the morning here in Bethel Springs, Tennessee and very pretty outside. The temperature is seventy-five degrees and feels nice with the sun not being so hot right now. I just finished having coffee with my husband and spending a few minutes with each dog, and yes, we have eight of them that love me so much.
I slept good last night and got up twice during the night to let the dogs out to go potty. I feel good this morning and fresh-minded with a little energy to burn. My husband and I are going to burn some more brush this morning before it gets really hot outside.
Then, I will be coming in to work on some of my writing. I got a children’s book done and I just need the pictures to go along with it before putting it up on Amazon. I will be working on some grant writing today as well. Hope Station USA needs some funding for our new project that we want to get off the ground to help the homeless.
I went grocery shopping last night to get us some more food and bought us a steak to have for dinner. I can’t buy much right now because we are living out of an ice chest. Things are going smoothly as planned with our property development and we only have about fifty feet of brush to clear and my greenhouse and gardens spots will be ready for planting this next season.
I plan on building my greenhouse in February which will be ready for March planting. I am looking forward to watching my garden grow and then selling part of it at the local farmer’s market for a little extra income. I have my mulch and ash ready to put the seeds to bed with and I know they will grow nicely.
Well, time to get to work and get things done around here. I hope everyone has a fantastic Monday and a very “Happy Birthday” to all who were born on this day. May everyone be blessed today and also be a blessing to someone in need. Take care.
