Good morning everyone. It is ten o'clock here in Dalton, Georgia and a bit chilly and cloudy outside. I have been awake for almost an hour and finally drinking a cup of coffee. my husband is still asleep and the dogs are eating their food. the rest of the house is finally awake and everyone is planning their day. I began working on the drug section of my book last night and it looks like I will on schedule to have it done at the end of the month.
AS far as how I feel this morning, I have a slight headache and feel blah today, but I cannot let this affect my day because I need to get my book done. I still have to do some more research on some things and collect pictures for the drugs, so it will be a time crunch.
I hope everyone is having a good day so far and that you are prosperous in your work. I think about everyone every day because that is who I am. I have a heart and compassion for every living being and creature. Please keep the homeless in your thoughts and prayers as the temperatures drop to almost freezing or below. Keep Hope Station USA in your thoughts and prayers as well that we will obtain the funding needed for our new program that will help end homelessness.
I hope that everyone is getting their free ebook from Amazon titled "Recipe for Cannibalism", I am running a free giveaway on the ebook to allow everyone to read it and then tell me what you think? Here is the link https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZZL847F. The free giveaway is going on through midnight Friday night EST, so get your copy now.
Well, time for me to get to work, but I am going to go shower first so that it will wake me up a little more and also help with my headache. I wish a prosperous day for everyone and a "Happy Birthday" to those who are celebrating today. May you all have many more to come. Take care.

Good morning to all. It is eight-thirty here in Dalton, Georgia with a gray cloudy sky. My husband just left to go to a doctor's appointment and I am here working on my list. I was pleased with yesterday because I completed the majority of my list and still manage to have time for my husband. It is going to be a trial and error thing right now until I can perfect it and get on the normal routine. Once I have it memorized, things will move quicker and then there will be more time for pleasure activities.
Sorry, I had to walk away for a minute to take care of my dogs and sweep and mop the house. I have taken all of my lists and combined them into one to simplify things for me and keep my stress level down. My sugars are running high due to stress, I think. I stayed in my room pretty much all day yesterday and my sugars ran normal and I even had a bought of hypoglycemia again. I will get it regulated eventually.
Well, time to finish working. I have another short story to write for my erotica book and some other things. I hope everyone has an awesome Friday and "Happy Birthday" to all those who are another year older today. May you all have many more to come. Please keep the homeless in your thoughts and prayers during the cold season. Also, we have obtained a passenger bus for Hope Station to accommodate traveling with supplies and eventually when our program of the tiny community gets set up we will be able to transport people back and forth to work. So, "Yay" for us. It is another milestone for Hope Station USA, so please pray for the funding we need to get the project off the ground and begin building. Take care.

11/16/2019

Good morning everyone. How are we doing this morning? I have been up since eight o'clock this morning and went right into cleaning the house up before the guys got back with the newest car purchase. Now, my husband is going to lay down and get some sleep while I sit and do some writing. The dogs are eating their breakfast and then I will take them outside for some outdoor time.
My husband has to finish fixing the fence so that I can just let them run free in the backyard with no supervision, but until that gets done, I have to stand out there with them to make sure that they don't get out. Other than that, they have to remain locked inside this room until I take them outside.
Today I will be working on my next children's book and getting the illustrations done for it. I have sold a few books since their publishing and will make it more worthwhile when I get everything set up. I am still setting things up for me to work and get things done. It is a process and I am working hard at it.
This will be a short post today because I have things to get done and my husband is going to sleep. I have already cleaned the house and had my coffee this morning when I got up and just ate a sausage sandwich so I am ready to go. I wish everyone a happy Saturday and a blessed one with love of your family.
Please keep the homeless in your prayers and thoughts during this winter season and that they stay safe and warm. Take care.

11/14/2019

Good morning everyone.   It is five minutes after nine in the morning here in Dalton, Georgia. I have been keeping a journal but there are many posts which I will post at a later time because right now we are in another chapter of our lives again.
We have moved back to Dalton, Georgia for the winter because we were not equipped to deal with below-freezing temperatures just yet. my husband thought it best to buy an RV instead of a wood-burning stove to keep us warm which he had good intentions because the RV was better insulated. So we are here until March when we will be going back to Tennessee to begin building my greenhouse and planting beds and getting ready for spring planting. We will be permanently moving back in May when we will be able to begin building our house.
At least being here I have access to the internet daily to keep everyone informed of what is going on in my life. I finally finished my psychological crime thriller book which took me a year to write and it is published now up on Amazon, so check it out.
The dogs are not happy about being here because now they are behind a fence again and not allowed to roam free like they were on the property. It is only for a short while and then they will be able to again. I published a few books last week which I am proud of being that two of them were children's books.
I am now working on my addictions book which will be a large book because it describes all the things a person can become addicted too and of course all the drugs. It will include my own story of addiction as well. Plus, there will be a companion book with worksheets and quizzes along with it. I am happy to be back writing again and it makes me happy.
Well, it is time to get to work and I hope everyone has a blessed day. Check out my Amazon page for my latest books at amazon.com/author/brandipayne. "Happy Birthday" to everyone celebrating today and may you have many more. Please keep the homeless in your thoughts and prayers and I will be uploading all of my previous posts soon. Take care.

10/11/2019

Good morning everyone. We are here in Dalton, Georgia and I am hoping to go home today back to Tennessee. We have been here since Sunday night visiting and it has been somewhat relaxing for me. My friend has no one here to help him around the house so my husband and I have been helping him. I got the house cleaned up and all the laundry done and caught up while my husband helped put carpet tiles down in the back bedrooms.
We thought we were taking an RV home with us, but as my husband was driving it back here, the carburetor caught the breather on fire. Yesterday, he changed the spark plugs and wires, plus cleaned out the carburetor, but after the tow fee we are completely broke and no money for gas for it or any of our other bills that are due for the rest of the month.
He made the decision to buy it and I just wanted to support him like he does me with my decisions even when I don't agree with them. Now, it has cost us everything and we go home empty-handed until next month when the bills will be doubled up on us to catch them up next month.
With all this happening, it puts my restaurant idea on the back burner when we could have been earning more money.
My husband is still asleep right now and when he wakes up and has his coffee we need to load everything up and get on the road going home. We were supposed to be going to spend time with his sister while we were here, but now he doesn't want to do that because he is bummed out because of his decision.
I have only gotten a little writing done since we have been here because of cleaning and taking care of things around here, but when we get home, I will get back into my schedule of getting my writing done. I just published my first children's ebook yesterday and hopefully, it takes off as well as some other books that I have published. I have broken the forty-five thousand words in the book I have been working on and it feels good.
Well, it is time to work on some other things before we leave so I will say to everyone, "Happy Friday" and that everyone has an awesome day. "Happy Birthday" to those celebrating today and may you have many more to come. Please keep the homeless in your thoughts and prayers now that colder weather is setting in. Take care.

9/14/2019

Hello to all. It is one o’clock in the afternoon here in sunny Bethel Springs, Tennessee. I had a good night sleep last night on new medication and it worked for me which I was hesitant about. I had a slow start to my morning, but eventually got my energy together and got things done.
I went outside and got the clothes washed and hung up on the line, I got the dishes washed and out there drying, and even cleaned the car windows inside and out. Now I am inside while it is the hottest part of the day and making myself ready to get some writing done.
My husband is outside weed eating the front yard and is now coming inside to take his daily nap. He comes inside while it is its hottest during the day and takes a nap. Then, we usually both go back out and work on the property while the evening sun is setting.
Yesterday morning was traumatic for me mentally because I attacked my husband in my sleep and scratched up the side of his face. I have no memory of it, but guilt ate me up all day because I would not intentionally hurt my husband for anything. I love him too much to hurt him and he takes real good care of me and the dogs.
Today is a new day and full of writing creativeness, so I must get to work. I wish everyone an awesome happy Saturday and to those another year older today, “Happy Birthday” and may you all be blessed with many more years to come. Please remember those sleeping outside or in abandoned buildings in your thoughts and prayers. Take care.

It is a beautiful day here in Bethel Springs, Tennessee with the sun coming up over the tree line and my husband already outside burning tree stumps to clear them from the path of our house being built. Hello everyone. I got up this morning to a fresh cup of coffee and a smiling husband. It has been difficult these past few days with it being the end of the month and we are running out of things.
Our car has enough gas to go to town, but not return. We have run out of generator gas and almost out of weed eater gas which puts us at a stand still on clearing the property. We did manage to get the front yard taken care of for curb appeal and most of what we have cleared already. I ran the weed eater yesterday while my husband was burning piles of brush. I must say that I got a little too much sun and my arms and shoulders are a bit burned, so there will be no working outside for me today.
Our food rations are depleted except the one can of soda I have remaining and enough food to make a goulash for dinner. We both have been losing weight and the energy levels are low. My husband was hypoglycemic yesterday and I needed to give him some of my glucose tablets to help raise his sugar. We have no way of getting to any of the food banks for food because of our gas issue and my husband’s pride can be an issue with asking for help. He reminds me we are not a charity case.
Our neighbors filled out IBC totes back up with water for us the other day so there will water to drink, but no food. I have written my father asking for help to buy food but haven’t gotten an answer yet. Things look grim for us and my husband is afraid we will lose too much weight especially with me being diabetic. My sugars have been running very low and he fears that something will happen to me. We are running on fumes and don’t know how to take a day off because there is so much to do around here. We just have to get to the 29th of the month to see any money.
What we have left to do while our gas has been depleted is burn all the brush we have piled up in groups which means it will get really hot and we will be drinking a lot of water. Well, it is time for me to get on to something else and I will talk again tomorrow providing I have battery life on my computer. I wish everyone an awesome hump day and a “Happy Birthday” to those who gained another year today. May you have many more to come. Take care.

Hello everyone. It is another beautiful day here in Bethel Springs, Tennessee. It is a bit humid and hot but still beautiful here. I just woke up from a much-needed nap and sat down here to write this journal entry. I got up this morning to go see the doctor for my mental health medications, signed us up for quarterly commodity hand out, and paid another bill before coming home and then became sleepy.
It has been a busy week for us and it has even pulled outa few mood swings for both of us that things were said that we didn’t mean because it was a mood swing causing it. We are okay now and moving right along. My husband is outside weed eating the front yard and I will be doing the back yard and the path which leads to the back of our property.
We have done so much here, and the work is hard at times, but we knew this coming in with our eyes open. In the end, our reward will be great. I have done some research on raising pigs and what kind to get, what to feed chickens, and getting my garden organized so it will grow abundantly.
The other night was kind of bad for me because I heard the coyotes outside right at the back of our property and had to get my dogs inside. It sounded eerie and I never really took notice until that night. I knew there were wild animals here but thought it would be easy to handle.
I went to sleep and had a bad nightmare that I couldn’t wake from until I woke up screaming and yelling which woke my husband and I told him that it was a bad nightmare and he moved over to hold me. I fell back to sleep and ended right back in the same nightmare. I finally sat up for awhile listening to the coyotes outside which didn’t help. It was a long night.
Well, I will end here and keep some battery life for my next article to write before going back to my book. I hope everyone has an awesome day and a very “Happy Birthday” to those who are celebrating one today. May God bless you with many more to come. Take care.

2/1/2019

Happy February everyone! It is such a nice day outside today and the sun is shining with the temperatures up in the fifties here in Dalton, Georgia. I had a hard time sleeping last night and finally went to bed around six this morning. I am running behind on my daily schedule by a couple of hours but still going strong to get everything done.

I still have to go out and clean the car out to pack it with the stuff for the flea market tomorrow and I still have a few candles to put ribbons on and get them ready. I went to the pharmacy today to pick up medication that I had been waiting a week for and now I have all my medications needed for the next month. My husband, on the other hand, went to sleep last night and forgot to take his medication so today is a rough day for him because of mood swings. I love him though.

I just finished cleaning the house with a house full of people sitting around and not helping but this is an everyday job for me. I cannot function correctly when I know the house is a mess. That is just part of my OCD. I am back on my diet sodas and water again because I have been drinking kool-aid to get off so much soda and my sugar hit the mid five- hundreds the other day which told me why I was having some symptoms of hyperglycemia.

It starts a new month and new goals for me this month and I have all my lists and schedules ready for the month which I am making it a goal to stay on them. I am supposed to be back on the treadmill today but because of my late start there is just too much other stuff that needs to be done but I will be back on it tomorrow faithfully.

On the seventh of this month, I am having an epidural done to my lower back to help with pain and I am fearful of allowing anyone near my spine with a needle, especially after what the last doctor did to my neck which is causing me more pain than I can tolerate because it radiates down into both shoulders. I cannot even sit for a period of time without being in some intense pain.

Other than my aches and pains, I seem to be doing okay except for being sleep deprived because of the inability to sleep which the doctor put me back on one medication because it did help me sleep. I miss sleeping and now the dreams have come back which will make for another problem because I seem to take stuff out on my husband when I sleep and have nightmares.

Tomorrow is the deadline to have another book done and everything was going smoothly until I reread what I wrote and it didn't make sense and it seemed like I just ran through the story, so I trashed it and started over but it will be a novella based on nonfiction and I have the experience with it which means I will and should have it completed by tomorrow night if not the next day. I have faith in myself to keep to my books moving forward positively.

Can you tell I am having a better day since this post is long and I am telling everything but the kitchen sink? I guess there is just a lot to catch up on and a lot of this is informational in case something happens to me which is unlikely at this point. I feel that God is not finished with me yet, so I am still here with you fine people.

I actually passed out a bag lunch to someone today who was sitting on the curb by the grocery store wear torn clothing, dirty, and had a sign that just stated, "I'm hungry" and I could not help but stop and give him a bag lunch, a hygiene kit, and a box of donuts that I had just bought in the store. He looked like he could use it more than me since I am diabetic and don't need the sweets as my husband puts it.

I can't help but eat some sweets every now and then and even keep some handy in case my sugar drops really low which it has done in the past. Right now, I have thrown out my A1C number since the holidays even though I tried to eat in moderation. My A1C in early November was 8.2 and the one before that was over 10.I fought so hard to get my A1C down to normal but I sabotaged myself with the holidays telling myself that it was going to go back up because of the holidays.

With some trial and error, I found that if I get on the treadmill three times a day and drinking water or Powerade that my blood glucose levels stay low and within goal range as opposed to being stationary in this chair and drinking kool-aid to keep fluids going in. I know it isn't right, but I am still learning this whole diabetes thing since being diagnosed back in 2011.

Well, I think that I can stop here and will be writing more tomorrow when we get back from the flea market telling everyone how we did. I hope everyone has an excellent evening and a happy tomorrow. "Happy Birthday" to everyone born on this date and may you have many more to come. Take care and be blessed.

P.S- Don't forget that you can make a donation to the organization from the PayPal link on this site or through the purchase of one of my books. A quarter of all royalties goes into the organization to assist us in helping the homeless. Thanks.

Cellarium (Rough Draft)

There is an unknown place deep in the forest of Bocka where creatures great and small reside. Tall luscious green trees and aromatic flowers are everywhere. Animals play and forage under the tall green canopy. You can look up and see strange birds perched on high limbs and rabbits on the grass-carpeted ground hopping away. It is so beautiful here that you are mesmerized by its appearance.
It is peaceful and tranquil that it captures any visitor passing through or along its edges. No one knows what lies within and none have traveled so deep inside. What creatures inhabit this wonderful forest? There is a dirt path that leads deep inside this amazing place.
There was a man named Agnacious who was a world traveler and currently on his way home from his latest travels. He had walked and ventured many miles and still had many more to go before reaching his wife and three children who looked forward to him coming home bearing gifts of his travels.
His path to home from where he came led him by this mysterious forest. As much as he did not want to look, he could not help himself because it was something he had not seen in years. The world was desolate and almost extinct, so to see something so green, fresh, and beautiful took every man’s attention.
As he looked down along the edge, it seemed to go on for at least a mile. He tried so hard to just pass it by and think of his family waiting for him. The thoughts were not strong enough when he came across the dirt path that led inside. Upon looking down the path that stretched inside and disappeared into the distance, it seemed to Agnacious how a forest that only stretched about a mile would have a path that led deeper in than a mile.
With all his might and strength, Agnacious tried to repel his thoughts and curiosity about what could be in this blossoming but strange forest. As he stood at the edge of the path that led inside, he noticed that it was getting later in the day and that he needed to get moving on his way home, but it called to him like a siren to a sailor. He could not get past the thought of what he would find inside and convinced himself that he would just arrive a day later than planned to his family.
As he traveled down the dirt path, he finds animals that have never been seen before. Some fat, thin, tall, short, hairy and bald. Some are weird looking and some so cute. It is amazing that this place exists without the hand of humans destroying something so beautiful.
Deeper into its womb Agnacious comes to hear a waterfall so great. Once he arrives at the base of this great waterfall, he sees that it is one-hundred feet tall with a rainbow through its mist. As his eyes look at this awesome sight, he can’t help but see deer and horses drinking from the other side of the river.
They are so gracious and proud. The deer’s horns are magnificent, a twelve point, he thinks. This gracious and kind animal has a body that is strong with a doe’s eyes. The horse is spectacular the way it stands so proud and confident. What amazing beasts they are.
As Agnacious walks along the river’s edge from the great and mighty waterfall with its foams so fluffy and white, he sees how the top of the river is glass-like and calm. He looks over the edge into it and sees rather large golden fish and many other multi-colored as well. It looks as if they stare at him wanting to jump out and give him a kiss with those pursed-up lips.
Farther down the way, Agnacious sees many more different creatures and even ones that fly away. There is something in the distance hidden by the foliage. The river runs under the brush and straight to whatever is on the other side. He begins pushing his way through the bushes and trees taking note of the large roots that stick up from the ground.
Pushing back the few tree limbs, Agnacious’ eyes see an amazing city caressed by a stone mountain. There are people he can see and with curiosity, he travels towards it. He thinks these are humans and that they will welcome him. They take human form but are more than human.
Agnacious arrives at a great wall with gates made from tree trunks and laced with green leaves. He has not been seen yet but knocks on the gate once. Then twice. Before his now swollen hand knocks a third time, the gate is opened. There stands what should be a human, but has tall pointed ears, a thin nose, and large blossoming eyes.
They ask, “what do you want, human”? Agnacious stumbles for words but cannot find any to speak. He has been taken back by his appearance. The gatekeeper catches Agnacious off-guard. He finally utters the words before he closes the gate, “what is this place”? “This is Cellarium, the great city of elves”, he replied. Again, Agnacious is mystified by his answer and wants to know more about this city built in a stone wall. “May I come in and see the city?”, he asked. The elf looked at him and asked, “what for?”
Agnacious could hardly keep his excitement to a minimum and replied, “I want to see this fantastic city”. The elf told him to hold on while he closed the gate to get word to Bertok, the ruler of Cellarium, that they had a visitor. While waiting Agnacious turned around and looked over this magical place. He saw the river flowing freely and the animals that are caravanning by the other edge.

When the gate began to open, it frightened Agnacious and he lost his words again. The elf opening the gate waves for him to come in. Now, he is inside this place of beauty and wonder. He sees elves everywhere and he thinks his eyes can’t get any wider.

12/27/2018

Good morning everyone. It is nine o'clock in the morning here in Dalton, Georgia and forty-six degrees outside. When I let the dogs outside, the sky looks like it wants to snow but temperature wise it feels very nice. My husband and I just got up and we are working on our first cup of coffee. I'm not sure if I will go for the second one yet because my shoulder and neck are hurting and I am still working on waking up.

I got a few things done last night and some more book writing. Today I will have a few hours alone so I will be getting some more done today. I feel my motivation building and I should be able to stay on top of my writing schedule. I look forward to writing more books and some of them will be free ebooks. My freebie promotion on my latest book has begun and it is doing awesome. Readers are getting their copies.

Today I feel it will be a good day and I will remain positive. I have many things to do but since I have made a schedule for everything, it makes it easier for things to get done. My husband is going to go take care of some things with our roommates so I will be here alone which will be great because I will get some peace and quiet.

I know this will be short, but I want to jump on everything and get them done. I hope everyone has an awesome day and be blessed. I want to say "Happy Birthday" to those who were born on today's date and may you have many more to come. Take care.

10/28/2018

Brrr! It is a cold one this morning. Good morning to everyone out there in reader land. It is forty-three degrees here this morning and gloomy outside. I have not been up long and on my first cup of coffee which with it being so cold in this room, it doesn't stay hot for long. My husband is at the flea market again this morning with our roommate and I am here with the four-legged babies. Sorry for any typos because I am typing with gloves on my hands to keep them warm.

How is everyone doing on this Sunday morning? I am okay so far but the day is just getting started for me. I want to give an update on my checklist progress that I started yesterday. I got three-quarters of my list done, but I was not able to get to any writing last night. I need to either move quicker through my list or move some writing around to where I get an hour here and there to write to keep things moving forward.

I will have at least four books ready for the editor on the eighth of the November and that makes me happy, but I need to get in gear with my writing to keep my goals up to date. I will need to get at least four to seven books ready in November which shouldn't be a problem if I get in gear with writing them. I can do it if I set my mind to it and my hands, lol.

Today I will be going through my list as quickly as possible to see how much more I can get done in a day. I will need to make this post a little short to get started so I want to wish everyone a blessed day and a "Happy Birthday" to those celebrating one today. Take care.

10/27/2018

Good Saturday morning to everyone. It is fifty-one degrees here in Dalton, Georgia and rainy with a side of gloomy. The dogs have been fed and are bundled up on the bed because it is cold back here. They are now quiet and I am allowed to get some work done. My babies are spoiled and always have to have momma's attention.

My husband went with our roommate to the flea market this morning and it gave me some quiet time. I am now on my second cup of coffee and thinking about how my day is going to go. I have ditched my schedule and went to a check-off list in return because it is almost impossible to get things done on a fixed time schedule when I could just get things done and check it off the list.

Today I will get back into writing but I am going to try an experiment with a timer. I will write for an hour on one book and see how many words I can type in an hour and that will give me a better time frame on how many words a book can be. Some of my books will be the length of a novella, and then I will have those that will be novel length.

My sales have not been great but they have been steady and constant which is okay. I am hoping that my sales will pick up during the holidays while I publish more books. I am not trying to get rich, I just want to supplement my income a little enough to live a little more relaxed.

I have two books that already have ten thousand words in them and they are not even close to being in the middle of the book yet. So, I know they will be long enough. I have a book that I am editing which is fifty-one thousand words and when I am done editing it before it goes to the editor it should still be about fifty thousand words.

I am happy writing and love when I can sit down and explore my imagination and be able to put it down on paper. It brings a part of me to life and I can live in my story where I control the outcomes and drama. It is a safe place for me to be when I am allowed to be there.

Well, it is time to get to work on something else and I wish for everyone to have a happy and safe Saturday. To those celebrating a birthday, "Happy Birthday" and may you have many more to come. Have a great day everyone and take care.

10/26/2018

"Happy Friday!!!" The weekend is here again. How is everyone doing today? I am feeling okay today. I just got some house chores done and now I am ready to sit down and get some things done for me. I have some things, just a couple, to get caught up on and then I will be back on track with my goals.

I went and saw my therapist the other day and my anxiety level was moderately high and she gave me some things to do to bring it back down. She is really pushing the fact that I need to start telling people "No" because it seems to make people want to walk all over me or take advantage of my kindness. I am going to try, but it will be hard.

I made up some lists last night almost like a daily check-off list like I used before which seemed to work instead of setting exact times to do things and I will see how well that works for my situation now. It was good for me in the past and I changed it because I had a husband and needed to make time in my hectic schedule for him.

Now I need to fit everything into my day to keep on track and to make myself accountable for my writing goals. I need to have so many published before the holidays really kick in so that my supplemental income will pick up and we can afford to have a Christmas this year. My sales are not that big right now but they are constant.

I have begun working on my second nonfictional book that is the second book in the "How I Survived" series. I am considering making a companion book to it as well which will have quizzes and worksheets in it. What do you think? I am looking forward to seeing how that book will come out. I know that it will be full of information that everyone can learn from.

My other books are moving right along and I am finding happiness while writing them. One of them is my absolute favorite because I get lost in the story. Most of my books are like that, but this one, in particular, catches my attention.

Well, it is time for me to get things going if I want to catch some things up and stay on target with my goals. I hope everyone is having a glorious Friday and a very "Happy Birthday" to everyone who is turning another year older today. Take care.

10/22/2018

Good morning everyone. "Happy Monday!" It is very cold this morning with it being thirty-five degrees outside. I know it is colder in other places but for me down here in the south, it is downright cold. I'm still a bit sick and feeling like a mucus factory since last night. We had all the dogs in bed with us last night to keep them warm and they made me sweat all night.

I am sitting here in this cold room alone after allowing the dogs to go out to potty and then putting them back in the bedroom where it is warmer. I came in here long enough to write this post and drink a cup of coffee to warm the bones a little. My hands are getting stiff because of the cold so this might be a short post so that I can get back into the warmer room.

I did manage to get some things done yesterday and reached ten-thousand words in y second book which I know will be a long book because I am only dealing with the first murder for now. My other book has hit fifteen-thousand words and I am excited to be possibly finishing them both by the end of this week because they are going to be long and I missed a few days with being sick.

I am also working on a special project for my non-profit to assist the homeless and I just began working on this idea and playing with the idea for now, but it will be a special one I think because it has been running through my mind for a few days nonstop.

I am finally managing to get the bills caught up and getting our finances in place. So, hopefully, I will be sending two books to the editor around the seventh of the month and getting my book covers done. It will be another accomplishment for me and I am very happy about that.

Well, the cold is getting to my hands so I will end this post here, but when the sun comes up and it warms up a little, I will be back out here working on my books. So I want to wish everyone a wonderful day and a "Happy Birthday" to those having one today. Take care.

10/16/2018

Morning to all. It is eight forty-three here in Dalton, Georgia this morning. I tried to get up earlier but I had a rough night last night with my neck hurting enough to give me headaches all night. I am sitting here trying to drink my first cup of coffee and will have to wake up my husband here shortly because he has a dentist appointment this morning.

I looked this morning and I have sold the first ebook of my new book that was published the other day. That makes me happy and I have given away several of my free books which will get my book into the hands of readers. This is all good news and I feel accomplished.

Well, it is about that time for me to get him up and ready to go. I know this post will be short and I apologize. I will write another post when I return home from his appointment. I look forward to today because I will be finished with the editing phase of my vampire book and will be shelving it until the finances allow me to send it to the editor at the beginning of next month.

I will be going back to working on my other books today as well. I am hoping to have two of them finished by the end of the weekend and ready for editing. I will then have two others that I will need to finish which will be done this month plus two children's books. That will give me six books done this month and I will be very proud of that accomplishment.

Well, let me get off here and get ready to go. I hope everyone has an awesome day and a "Happy Birthday" to all those celebrating one today. Take care.

10/15/2018

Hello to my friends and family old and new. How are you today? Are we enjoying this awesome Monday? I just got back from the doctor's office and picked up my medication refills. I am feeling a little loopy right now due to an increase in my pain medications because of my neuropathy getting worse. Other than that, I am good so far but it is still early, lol.

My husband is staying close by because when I came home he was on the verge of a panic attack for an unknown reason. I am feeling okay today and not so depressed. Last night, I was able to get two articles written for this one site that I can get paid for.

I am feeling a bit OCD right now because I came into the room where I sit and write and my desk looked like a tornado hit it. I cannot handle things that are not organized. It drives me a little crazy. I still have to sweep my room out and pick up a pile of trash out in the backyard outside the door.

Today, I will be getting some more writing done and finish up the editing on my vampire book so that I can send it to the editor. I have already begun writing the sequel book to the first vampire book. I plan on being ready for publishing next month.

Well, it is time to get things going around here before it gets too late. I hope everyone is having an awesome Monday and I wish a very "Happy Birthday" to everyone celebrating one today. My newest book that was published has gone live on Amazon and today through Friday you can get a free ebook of mine off of Amazon. It is called "The Battle for Joshua" and everyone loves reading it and gives me good reviews about it, so check it out. Take care.

10/14/2018

Good morning everyone. How are you this morning? It is eight o'clock here in Dalton, Georgia and very cloudy and overcast outside. Daylight didn't begin coming up until about seven thirty this morning. I went outside for a minute to grab my newspapers and felt a few raindrops fall on my face. It is supposed to rain this morning and I will love it because it makes for better writing mostly because it is relaxing weather.

I have been up since five-thirty this morning and now the movie Halloween is on the television. I have finished my first cup of coffee and moving on to my water now. I am excited because I published another book last night and it is up for sale this morning on Amazon. It will not cater to everyone's niche but I do figure it's sales will be good.

Tomorrow begins a free giveaway on my book, "The Battle for Joshua" and will run until Friday. I look forward to it moving into the hands of readers. I still have a few other books to edit before publishing and a couple more that needs to be finished so that they can be edited. I figure I should have at least five books sent to the editor and published in total for this month.

I am progressing forward and I am very excited about my near future with many books published and many more to be written. I have changed my schedule around to where I will be writing in the evenings so that I can do other things during the day like helping to take care of my roommate/friend's father who is in a hospital bed from a stroke.

Sometimes he and I sit and chat about things and life and laugh together while I take care of him. It is good to see him laugh. I just heard my husband rustled around in the next room. Maybe he will be getting up soon. I have to go clean the house and get things started and check on the father.

I am really feeling good today because of publishing my latest book last night. It makes me feel proud. Well, I have to get going now and wish everyone a good and blessed day. "Happy Birthday" to all those celebrating today. Take care.

10/13/2018

Good morning everyone. How are you today? I am doing okay this morning. I slept a little better than the night before but I am okay. It started getting chilly here at night to where everyone is bundled up in our bed at night. All eight dogs are either in our bed or bundled in the blanket on the floor. It feels good during the day and not so hot back here in my room where I am writing this post.

I sat here last night working on one of my shorter books and will be publishing it today up on Amazon. I am excited to have another book publishing which will make four books now. I just finished working on the cover for it last night and because it is a shorter book, the cover was going to be simple enough that I could do it by myself.

Monday will be the first day that a free book promotion is going on for one of my books. "The Battle for Joshua" will begin on Monday with a free ebook giveaway so pick up your copy of it and tell your friends. The promotion will run through Friday and then it goes back to the original price.

My husband just woke up and I gave him his first cup of coffee. He usually sleeps longer than me because I have to get up and get things going for the morning. Plus, I enjoy the peace and quiet while I wake up myself with my coffee. I have some things to do this morning so I will be cutting this post a little short.

I want to wish everyone an awesome Saturday and to everyone celebrating a birthday today, "Happy Birthday" and may you have many more. Have a great day everyone and be on the lookout for my new book. Take care.
