3/30/2019

Good morning all you early risers on this Saturday morning. It is four fifty-four in the morning and I am sitting here with my husband having coffee. I got quite a bit of writing done yesterday and will get more done today. It looks promising that I will have this next book done by Monday morning and be right on schedule. It is coming done to the next scene of the book which to me is exciting.

I am working on my schedule right now to get a lot done for the day, but because I am up so early I will need a nap this afternoon and that will be getting my dogs back on their schedule too because they have a quiet time nap time with me during the afternoon for a couple of hours. Then, they go back outside to play and be dogs.

I have plenty of things to do and one is posting about my new promotion that begins on Monday and runs through until Friday where my latest book will be free on Amazon. I will be pushing that today on Twitter and Facebook so that everyone can get their copy of it. It is a four book series about a woman becoming a vampire to be with her true love and queen of his country to rule on the throne.

This will be a busy week for me to come because I need to set up tables for my nonprofit to raise funds so that we may be able to keep services going while raising money for our new project that will help end hunger and homelessness and for them to regain their self-sufficiency. We need funding and I have to get it in gear to research foundations that will help fund the project.

Yes, I will be very busy writing books which a percentage of royalties will go to the nonprofit, raising money for the services of the nonprofit, and setting up donation tables, plus searching out funding for the new project that will greatly benefit the community and the homeless. We have had a good response from many of the homeless that will benefit from the project which will be a program that they will graduate from.

So many things to work on with very little time to get it all done, but I am strong enough to handle it all. I have a total of three books in the editing phase that will be ready for publishing soon. I have a lot of books to write and look forward to each one's story. I find bits of myself in the story and it makes it worth writing. Such good therapy for an individual with mental illness.

Well, I will end this post here and get started on other things. I hope everyone has an awesome Saturday and that you will be blessed. Everyone born on this date I want to wish a "Happy Birthday" and may you have many more. Take care.

P.S- Please show your support for our organization on ending hunger and homelessness by clicking a link below and making a donation. We need for all our communities to pull together to get this project up and going to assist the homeless in regaining their self-sufficiency.

3/29/2019

Good morning to all. It is nine forty-four in the morning and sunny outside here in Dalton, Georgia. I hope everyone is thankful that today is Friday and that this will be the last weekend in March. I can't believe that April is already here and every day is a Spring morning. I can hear the birds outside chirping and my dogs have eaten and gone outside only to come back inside and go back to sleep on the bed.

My husband is outside working on his truck giving it a tune-up and getting it ready for our trip to the property at the end of May. He just came in and stated that he was finished and that he was going to take it for a test ride to see how it runs now that everything is new on it. I just went out and heard him start it up and it sounds great.

I have to get some writing done today since my time is running short on having this next book finished. I am halfway through it and love the storyline. I will be working on it most of the day today and then some more tomorrow. I have to have it done by Monday morning when I am scheduled to start another book which will be the next book in my nonfiction series "How I Survived".

I also will be getting back on the treadmill today since I have been hurting too much to get up and do anything. I have alarms set for all my treadmill walks, my medications, and my insulin checks. When we move up to the property we will not have any power for a minute because we will have to build another room to set up the breaker box.

We will probably be without power for about a month I figure because we will also have to build our septic tank and have it inspected before we build the kitchen and pantry where the breaker box will be located. It is all good though and I can't wait.

Well, it is time to move on to something else that needs my attention. I hope everyone has an awesome Friday and for those who were born on this date, "Happy Birthday" and may you have many more to come.

Good morning everyone. It is eleven forty-five in the morning here on a beautifully sunny day outside. I have been up for about an hour but I was up early this morning with my husband who chose to go back to bed so I went and laid with him. The dogs are outside and happy and I just got our new address for our property this morning, so it is starting out to be a good day.

I have a doctor's appointment in about an hour so this post will be short because I have other things that need to be done before I leave in thirty minutes. I should be finishing up my book in progress by the end of Monday. So, I need to get it in gear.

Once I finish this post, I have to update the nonprofit blog as well, plus check in on the GoFundMe account. I need to post an update there too. I have so many things to do during the day that it isn't funny. I am strong and full of motivation right now because things are moving forward with our property and that is what keeps me going. Yes, it is a little stressful because we have to pay out some money for our property but what can you expect, we are purchasing something that will be ours.

well, let me get going and I will post more tomorrow so have a happy day and be blessed. "Happy Birthday" to those born on this date and may you have many more. Take care and please click a link below to show your support of our cause to end homelessness and hunger.

Good morning everyone. It is seven twenty-six in the morning here in Dalton, Georgia and I have not seen outside yet but I know that it is thirty-eight degrees outside and a bit chilly. We have been up since six this morning. I have plenty of things to do today and writing being one of them. I am making preparations still for our move and getting things ready and also making preparations for Hope Station USA.

I know that I need to get back on the treadmill and workout in order to do the charity walk in September and I need to begin making phone calls to set up tables for donations. I need to get that done.

Sorry for my absence, I laid back down with my husband for a bit and fell asleep. Anyway, I have got some things to do. I have some articles to write for journals and I have to finish working on my book. I plan on having it done next Monday and starting on the next one Tuesday. I have to balance my writing with everything else and these are the things that are important for me to get done.

I wish everyone an awesome day and to everyone born on this date, "Happy Birthday" and may you have many more.

Good morning everyone. It is ten ten in the morning here in Dalton, Georgia and forty-four degrees outside. I just got up for the second time this morning and I am having another cup of coffee. I am having a hard time waking up this morning because I went to bed around eleven or midnight last night.

I am waiting to make some phone calls this morning and I also have my therapist appointment today. I have begun processing my past and I feel like I cannot do another today because I have the blahs. I did manage to get a couple thousand words written last night on my book in progress and look forward to rereading it in the editing stage.

My husband is outside working in the backyard getting the pool ready to be fixed and up and running which I really don't care about since we should be moved up to the property by the time it is even hot enough to swim.

I will need to find us doctors up there soon that will take the place of our doctors down here. We will be going back up on the fourth of April to continue clearing off the property and making adjustments to where the fence is going to go and draw the dimensions of the kitchen and bathroom on the ground so we know where the septic system will go.

We are still waiting for the gentleman who does the soil mapping to call us back to make the final adjustment of where the system will be placed. We are going to do this all by ourselves and it will be fun I think. It will be some good quality time with my husband doing something that will benefit us both.

Well, time to get to work before my appointment rolls around. I will post again tomorrow. Have an awesome day everyone and "Happy Birthday" to everyone borne on this date. May you be blessed with many more.

Good morning everyone. It is eight forty-six in the morning here in Dalton with gray skies outside. My husband and I are drinking our first cup of coffee and I just fed the dogs and got them outside. We have an appointment with his lawyer this morning to get the rest of his money owed and then I am coming back home to get back into my writing.

I have a week left to get one of my books finished since I had to change my schedule around. So now I can get back on schedule and have some more books ready for editing. I still have two being edited now. I lost my motivation for a minute because of having to buy our property and then taking trips there to begin the clearing process so that we can build our home.

Now, I have to make things work together so that both can be done. I know it won't be easier said than done, but I will remain positive through it all. Working together with my husband should make it easier with clearing the property and right now we are just clearing the space where the house and septic system will be going since it all has to be inspected.

Well, I will make this post short due to getting ready to leave for our appointment. I wish everyone a blessed and awesome day. "Happy Birthday" to everyone born on this date. May you have many more to come. Take care.

3/24/2019

Good morning everyone. It is me again, lol. We got back yesterday from our property where we spent the night Friday night so that we could get some more cleaned up. We have the area where our house is going to go and spent days clearing up the banks that were street front so that the property would look better.

We were informed on Friday that we have to have a soil map done for the septic tank, so I have to call him tomorrow to see how much that is going to cost us, but I am hopeful that everything will be okay. I would hate to have to come this far to say it wouldn't pass, but the owner stated that it passed from the beginning when they first got the property so I will remain positive.

We signed our contracts on Friday and had them notarized, so it is official that we are buying this property which makes me very happy. We are hoping to move there around the first of June and we can finish clearing the property while we live there. We have 2.88 acres and will probably get the lot next to us which will make us buying about 6.5 acres in total.

It is beautiful up there and I noticed how friendly everyone was. there are no neighbors on either side of us except for one neighbor who is two lots over from us. It is very quiet except for hearing a turkey every now and then. We slept in our car and heard a few owls, but that is all. There are deer everywhere and the landscaping is phenomenal.

I have pictures that I will post of our two-day trip and how much we have gotten done with there only being two of us doing the work. We got a bit of sun and the temperature was in the mid to upper sixties while we were there. I loved it and to think that we will have something of our own that no one can take from us.

Well, I need to catch up on some things since we weren't here and I will post again tomorrow, so have an awesome day everyone. To those born on this date, have a "Happy Birthday" and many more to come.

Hello everyone. How are you? I am doing pretty good this morning, but a little anxious for tonight because we leave at four in the morning to head to our property and to sign the contracts. Once the contracts are signed, we head for our property to begin clearing it for our house. I am so excited that we are going to own something that no one can take away from us. I will be posting pictures when we return Saturday evening.

We are going to work until we can't see anymore, then sleep in the car, then get up and begin working again and stop about sunset and head for home. So, I won't post pictures until Sunday morning. I will try to post pictures along our journey of building our house and farm. The plan is to become self-sufficient which we will be by the end of the year as far as food goes, but it will take a minute for us to save up the money for solar power which will take up completely off the grid except for the internet.

I went and bought a new weedeater with a steel brush cutting blade and some rakes and a shovel to help in our process of clearing the property. I sat down last night and drew up the dimensions of the house and each room to see which way we were going to have the house facing. It is all a work in progress. Well, I have to get some things done so I will let everyone go for now.

I wish everyone an awesome day and a blessed one. For those of you who were born on this day, a very "Happy Birthday" to you and may you have many more. Anyone care to help a nonprofit out to end homelessness and hunger please click the links below.

Good morning to all. It is five twenty-nine in the morning here in Dalton, Georgia and in the forties outside. My husband and I have been up for about thirty minutes now and he has brought me some coffee. Usually, I don't stay up long this early in the morning, but I have a doctor's appointment today and I want to get a jumpstart on my to-do list and get some writing done.

I just took my injections and my blood sugar wasn't that bad this morning and I drank a nutritional drink for breakfast. I feel pretty good this morning and I have a positive attitude so far. I am just feeling a bit anxious for Friday to get here because we are going up to get started on our property.

We have to clear the brush from the property and clean it up to make it ready for our house to be built. I still have to get the dimensions down for the house so that it can be framed out and planned where everything is going to go. I can't wait to see our whole house built and then we will begin building our farm with a chicken coop and pig pen to start off with. Cows will come later.

The goal is to have a farm that is income producing along with an office for me to write. The location is beautiful and in the mountains. There are only eight hundred people in this little town and the property is beautiful. When we go up this Friday, I will take pictures of what the property looks like at the beginning and I will post pictures of our progress as we clear the brush. I want to share it with all of you.

I will be doing some writing today and working more on finishing the book I am writing now. It is a crime thriller and I am enjoying writing it. It is about a serial killer who is a cannibal. I am sure having fun writing it because it is funny where my mind will go and how creative it can be.

Well, it is going on six o'clock and I want to get everything going so I will leave you here for now. I want to let you know that I care about every one of you and that I appreciate you reading my posts and following my website.

I want to wish everyone an awesome "Hump Day" and a blessed one. To all of you who were born on this day, "Happy Birthday" and may you have many more.

Good morning everyone! It is such a lovely day here today and I just got back from the endocrinologist which is going to be taking over my diabetes care. I will also have diet management too. I just got the dogs fed and they are happy now, and I just got off the phone calling about our cabin that will be placed on our property in Tennessee at the end of May. I just gave them the specifics of what size and they build to suit. So, things are moving nicely there.

I have been busy helping around the house with everyone cleaning and getting ready to set up the pool too. I have my list of stuff that needs to get done by tomorrow, but that is fine because I can do it. I am going to be looking into getting a paid ad out for my books which hopefully will boost sales. There are so many things to do so I won't hold everyone up this morning with a really long post, but I do want to update everyone on my progress.

I am here taking care of things while my husband went to his sister's house for a visit. I would have gone too but I need to get things done here for myself since it has been all about the house the last couple of days. I need to get back into my writing.

I had to change my writing schedule again to make sure everything hits my schedule on time. I hate being thrown off schedule and having to change things again. I am back to working on one book with two in the editing phase and one more waiting to be finished after this current one I am working on.

I am still pushing my nonprofit stuff as well. I need to get some things done for it. We are hoping to have the funding for the new project by the end of the year so that we can break ground on building the new community for the homeless and help them begin their journey to self-sufficiency. It will be a momentous occasion for us.

Well, let me get off here and get things going so that I can have some free time for my husband when he gets home. I hope everyone has an awesome day and "Happy Birthday" to everyone born on this date. May you have many more to come.

Good morning everyone. How are you this morning? "Happy Friday" to all. the weekend is here and it is time to celebrate good times, come on. It is nice and sunny here with the temperatures in the sixties. The dogs were just put out in the back yard and I just took all my medications and insulins. Once I get done writing this post, it will be time to get on the treadmill for my first walk today.

I woke up feeling pretty bad this morning where I stayed in bed until about eleven when I could actually get up. I had been up and down all night and felt like crap. I have things to get done and I can not afford to let things get in the way like being sick.

Today will be a good positive day if it kills me. I will be getting a lot of writing done today and tomorrow to have more books ready for editing. I am excited about getting the second book in my "How I Survived" series done and it will be full of great information for everyone. It is on addictions.

I hope everyone will have an awesome day and be blessed with whatever your hands touch. I need to get going and I wish for everyone to have a great day and be safe. "Happy Birthday" to those who were born on this date and may you have many more.

I know that this post is a little shorter than normal, but after posting last night, I need to get other things done today. Please show your support by clicking a link below and making a donation to help end homelessness and hunger. Take care.

3/14/02019

Good evening everyone. It is nine twenty-nine in the evening here in Dalton, Georgia and the day started out pretty nice with a lot of wind, but this evening it turned into rain. Yesterday, we took a road trip and purchased 2.88 acres of land to build our house on and make it our little farm. It was a surreal moment for me to know that we are going to own land and can build our dream house.

It has electric at the road, but it is old logging land which left stumps and tall grass and brush. It will take a few trips of going up and clearing the land to make it ready for our home, but it is exciting and with my anxiety, it shouldn't take too long to have it ready for the first building which we will live in while building the rest of it.

Once the house has been completed, the room that we will be living in will turn out to be our living room. There are open lots next to our property that if we need to expand, we can purchase more acreage. I am so wanting to drive up there now to get started, but I have to be patient.

So, the plan is to go up around the second of April and stay overnight up there to get two full days of work in which we should be able to get plenty of it done. We need to purchase a new weedeater and the brush blade to go with it to take care of a lot of the brush and some other tools to manage the rest.

My husband sounds like he wants to go up tomorrow to get started, but I want to wait until we get the contracts notarized. We live five hours away from the property so financially we can't afford to drive up there every other day, so they are going to be calling me Monday and mailing us the contracts to take and get notarized here and mail them back.

This will all take place on Monday and I will also get the address assigned to that property so that I can have checks ordered with that address on them to mail the payments to them until we move up there and we will still write checks out for the monthly note on the property because I want a paper trail.

I have not written anything in two days and that has been frustrating because I need to have these two books or at least one of them completed by Sunday to stay on a writing schedule, but taking care of our house is important too. I will manage somehow to get things done.

I have been working on our nonprofit stuff as well and so far no donations have come in and it seems like no one wants to help the homeless get off the streets, but I will leave that conversation alone because I will go on and on about how the homeless are being treated.

Well, I need to get some writing done for the evening and some other things too, so I will say good evening to everyone and please remember those who are sleeping outside and keep them in your thoughts and prayers. I hope everyone has a blessed evening and a very "Happy Birthday" to those born on this date.

3/12/2019

Good morning everyone. How are you? I am still trying to wake up and no one saved me any coffee so I am waiting for another pot to brew. I spent a few minutes over the toilet this morning throwing up phlegm that ended up in my stomach while I slept, so it has not been a happy morning.

We have an appointment with the lawyer today to collect my husband's settlement check from the car fender bender he was in over six months ago. it isn't going to be much but it is enough for him to buy his truck and then the rest will be sat on for the expenses of buying our property in a couple of months.

I have been at a standstill in writing on my books but that will change today. I have to have both of them completed by Sunday morning and that shouldn't be hard to do since one is fiction and the other is a crime thriller which I get drawn into the story as I write it. I am positive that I will have both of them done or almost there by Sunday.

My husband is happy about his truck now since it will help us move our stuff to the property. I will be happy to have a yard big enough for the babies to run and play in. I am very excited and can't wait. I still have to draw out the plans for the rest of the house so I know how big to make the fencing around the yard. It is bad when you have two dogs that can jump a five-foot fence so the fencing will be six-feet and concreted in the ground so there is no chance of escaping. We have six small dogs that are mischevious and will try to find a way out.

Well, I need to get things going. I still have to take a shower now that everyone else is done. I have some homework to do for my therapy session that needs to take some time to do, so I want to wish everyone a blessed day and a "Happy Birthday" to those born on this date. Keep the homeless in your thoughts and prayers that they remain safe and healthy. Take care

3/10/2019

Good afternoon everyone. It finally became a beautiful day outside and I pushed the dogs out of the house to go play because they were stuck in the house during the rain. I feel pretty good today and feeling positive. My GoFundMe account is up and live now we can start pulling in money for the new project to assist the homeless.

The goal with Pathway to Self-Sufficiency is to take the homeless and put them inside a dorm room/tiny house where they can be safe and help them get back on their feet to working and graduating the program when they are able to move into their own apartment. We would like to be able to break ground on building the little community for them before the end of the year.

There are many homeless individuals that we have speaking with that are anxious and excited about this new program and want to be the first ones to graduate the program. We have gotten quite a good response from the homeless community and hopefully a good response from the working and tax-paying communities.

My husband is hurting so he is laying down with a pain patch on while I sit here and get some writing done. We went out earlier to pick up some totes for storing some of our homeless hygiene products so they don't get damaged. We need to schedule another day to go down to Florida to pass some out and I need to set up appointments for donation tables at mass merchants like Walmart.

We have been focusing on setting things up for the building project and my charity state walk, but most of that is taken care of except a few simple things, but now is the time to get money coming in to keep buying food to feed the homeless. At the bottom of my posts, you will see two links for donations. One is the GoFundMe link to make a donation towards the building project of Pathway to Self-Sufficiency and the PayPal link is where you can make a donation to help with food and supplies. We hope that you choose either one to show your support in assisting us in ending hunger and poverty.

Well, time to get writing so I will end this post here with a wish that everyone enjoys their Sunday with loved ones and a very "Happy Birthday" to those born on this date. Take care.

3/9/2019

Good morning everyone. How are you? I am doing okay this morning just having a small cold that I have been battling for the last couple of days. Sorry for not being here yesterday, but had to run errands since we finally got our checks and had to go pay bills and all with late fees. Then, we had to go run an errand for a friend who was busy with what else I don't know.

It is ten nineteen in the morning, fifty degrees outside, and very rainy. There was a thunderstorm most of the night and yesterday it was difficult driving with heavy rain and flooding going on, but we made it. I am enjoying my first cup of coffee and I have taken all of my medications and insulin. With errands and me not feeling so good, it has been difficult focusing and concentrating on any writing.

Today I just have one errand to run and that is to the bank to make a withdrawal and then to the store to pick up some cleaning supplies. I feel like crap, but hopefully, it gets better. I am still currently working on two manuscripts at once. I work on one during the day and the second one in the evening. I am hopeful that both will be done by next Saturday. That would make four books in the editing process and then publishing them.

My sugar is still out of whack and I have an appointment this coming week for an insulin pump to be given to me to help with my battle of diabetes. I began my charity walk training the other day and I am walking every day even in the rain because during the walk it will not always be sunny, so I train in the elements as well.

I am looking forward to the walk and my GoFundMe account just became live, so show your support by making a donation. I want to raise homelessness awareness, raise money for food and supplies during the walk, as well as raising money for the new project that we think will be a huge benefit to the homeless and the communities they live in.

I will be interviewing homeless individuals during the walk and placing their story in a book that I will be writing in November because I want everyone to get to know these individuals' story of why they became homeless. Not everyone out there is homeless because of drugs and alcohol. I will be making this journey for myself as well to do a thorough cleanse of things from within myself. There are some things that I need to let go of and this walk will make it possible.

I have the support of my husband on everything, but I am always met with adversity even in the home we live in. Being made fun of and told it is stupid to walk doesn't do a lot for me mentally, but I know that I can do this and that it will change things tremendously in our communities. We need, and the homeless need this new project to make them feel human again and get back to work.

Well, I need to go and get things done for today so I will publish this post now. Thank you so much for listening and we appreciate you. To anyone making a donation, thank you from the bottom of my heart. The homeless thanks you and appreciates it very much. Just remember to click the link below to make a donation.

I wish everyone an awesome day and keep those sleeping outside in your thoughts and prayers. I wish everyone a "Happy Birthday" that was born on this date and may you have many more. Take care.

3/7/2019

Good morning everyone. How are you? It is nine forty in the morning and the sun is shining here in Dalton, Georgia but it is still on the chilly side with the temperature at thirty-five degrees outside. I woke up with a small headache this morning. I feel like I have a hangover but haven't had a drink or a beer in years. I check my sugar thinking it might be running extremely high but it wasn't. I can't figure out why I feel like this.

Anyway, I began writing my next book the other day and it is moving right along. I am currently working on two books at one time now. I am trying to finish one but I need the full two weeks on the new book because of all the information that will be in it. it will be a monster when I am done, plus it will have a companion book to go with it.

I took a break yesterday from writing because I have to get my walking schedule done and did a quarter of a mile walk yesterday to time myself. I will now be in training for the charity walk in September. I now have a support team put together for me and I still have a lot of work to do to put things together so when I am cleared by the doctor August thirty first I will leave for the walk approximately two weeks later.

I still have to coordinate the timeline for my walking to figure out how long it will take me to complete the walk. As it stands we are looking at three weeks, but I think it will be just a little longer than that considering I will be walking a mile every hour as of right now. the walk will be a leisurely walk and not a speed walk, so computations have to be done.

My legs are a little sore from walking the block yesterday which is good because not only will I be losing the weight, it has the terrain of hills around here which give me the advantage of training will hills. I will be walking around the block which totals a quarter of a mile once daily for two weeks, then I will bump it up to two times around for two weeks up until I reach a mile which is four times around the block. Once I have hit that mark and walked it for two weeks, I will be taking it to the main road with my husband sitting at a five-mile checkpoint and begin walking five-mile intervals every day until I am conditioned for this walk.

The walk will be a journey for me, but it is to raise awareness and collect donations for the new project will seriously benefit the homeless and the community. I still have press releases to make, a list of everything I will be carrying on my person while walking, I need to print up flyers for my husband to have while sitting at checkpoints. It will all come together. I have faith in myself.

Sorry, I got pulled away from this to drive a car to the shop. it is now one nineteen in the afternoon and the sun is shining and it is not so cold outside. I will go ahead and end this post since I was taken away and lost my train of thought. Take care.

Good morning everyone. How are you this morning? it is ten forty-seven and twenty-three degrees outside and we are under a freeze warning. I have been up for a little over an hour and have had two cups of coffee, gotten the dogs out to potty, and spent a few minutes with my husband outside while he works on an old truck. I am just getting started with my day and it looks promising.

My sugar has been out of whack since the holidays and now I am finally grasping hold of it again. I need to get everything in order and my body conditioned so that I can do this charity walk in September. I have some weight to lose and have my physical health back in order for my doctor to clear me.

My writing is going good and I start my second book in the "How I Survived" series today which I am excited about. It is on addictions and tells my story of addictions as well. I think everyone is addicted to something in their life and sometimes it can get out of control.

I am also working on buying our property and getting things set up in that department. Which I am excited to have our own property and a tiny house for now while we build our big house. I am still planning on having a farm and that makes me happy.

I have begun working on my grant proposal writing for Hope Stations project of a tiny community and it seems promising too. It will be a big advantage for the homeless and will benefit the community too. I think it will make a huge impact in the community and bring society back under reigns again.

Well, I need to get this posted and I wish everyone a great day. "Happy Birthday" to those born on this day and remember those sleeping outside in your thoughts and prayers. Please join with me and show your support of our program by making a donation with one of the links below. Take care.

Good morning. It is now eight twenty-seven in the morning and a chilly twenty-three degrees here in Dalton, Georgia. I just got up a few minutes ago, but my husband has been up for an hour or so and he stated that was snowing outside earlier and I missed it. I always seem to miss the snow. we haven't seen but a dusting here all year and then it melts so quickly.

I just got my first cup of coffee and just brought the dogs back inside from pottying. They are eating now while some have cuddled back up in the bed where it is warm. I can't believe how cold it is outside and it makes me glad we didn't move yet and go further North or we would be freezing at this point. I have been watching the weather and where we are going to move to is still getting hit with those snow storms.

I am waking up a little more the longer I sit here and I am looking forward to starting my day and getting stuff done. I sat last night working on my route for the charity walk and marking my five-mile checkpoints for my husband to be at while I walk to him. It looks like I will be walking through several towns and not so much flatland with nothing in sight which is good.

Well, it is time to go, I have other things that need to get done. I am feeling pretty good today and want to keep up the momentum, so I want to wish everyone a "Happy Monday" and for those who were born on this date, "Happy Birthday". Take care and remember to keep those sleeping out in the cold in your thoughts and prayers.

Good morning everyone. It is seven forty-two in the morning and a chilly forty-five degrees outside here in Dalton, Georgia. This is my second time getting up this morning because I was up for almost two hours at three o'clock this morning and sat here doing some writing on a book.

I am drinking a cup of hot coffee which tastes so good this morning. I fed the dogs but they are not ready to go outside since I let them out at three o'clock. I have put food down for them but they are still in bed and not ready to get up yet.

I am the only one up in the house so far and will probably be until nine o'clock or so. it is supposed to rain here today and that usually makes everyone sleep late. That is fine by me because I love peace and quiet. I can get things done that way. :)

I hope everyone had a safe night last night? I know some of you probably partied a little and that is okay as long as you were responsible and safe. I had a pretty quiet night last night and went to be early because I did a lot yesterday and had to deal with a bout of hypoglycemia while driving which was pretty scary for me, but I made it home safely.

I completed everything on my schedule yesterday except for my bedtime walk on the treadmill. I do the treadmill three times daily to lose weight and to condition myself for a state walk that is going to happen in September. I plan on walking a big circle around the state of Georgia to bring about awareness of homelessness. it will be a major fundraiser and should take me approximately three weeks to walk.

My husband is going with me as my support and will be parked five miles ahead of me as a checkpoint for me to take a break. I will be posting on a separate page on the charity website my journey and any things that happen while on this walk. I will have my route posted in case anyone wants to come say hello or get a picture with me. My husband will be set up to also take donations while I am out walking.

After all my daily stuff is done, I will be working on the walk stuff and getting all our checkpoints down and what not. I am doing the treadmill now, but April first I will be walking along a hwy here because walking a treadmill and walking outside are totally different. I have forty pounds to lose before August thirty-first to be cleared medically for this walk and I plan on making that goal.

well, I need to get this posted and want to wish everyone a great day and a very "Happy Birthday" to those born on this date. Take care.

Also if you want to contribute to our organization I will place two links below for you to do that.

Good morning everyone. How are we doing this fine Saturday morning? It is fifty-four degrees here in Dalton, Georgia and cloudy. The rain has finally stopped for now and the sun is even trying to shine through the clouds. It looks to be a good day so far. I am hopeful though.

Yesterday I got through most of my schedule but had some catching up on some articles to get back on schedule with those. I still have just a couple more to do which won't take very long to do. I still have some writing to do on one book to get it finished which today is its deadline and I think I will be able to get most if not all of it done today, because tomorrow starts a new book and I will need all of the two weeks to get it written.

I have been working on planning the build of our house since it won't be long before we are moving there. We plan on moving around May or June. I am so excited about moving and having a new fresh life with my husband and dogs. It will be a nice fresh start and we will have something to show for our lives.

I got one crowdfunding page set up the other day to begin trying to pull donations in for our homeless project which I am proud of. I am hopeful that when I begin writing grant proposals that we get the necessary funding needed to begin breaking ground.

We will have volunteers coming out to help us build and then a grand opening barbeque will be nice to have when we are ready. I am hoping that we can have one location set up before the end of the year. We are all hopeful here at Hope Station USA that things will go nicely.

Well, allow me to say goodbye for now since I have things that need to get caught up on. I will leave a link down below in case you would like to make a donation to help us help the homeless and give them their life back.

I wish everyone a sweet Saturday and may you have many blessings. I wish everyone born on this date a very "Happy Birthday" and may you have many more. Take care.

Happy March to everyone! We are already three months into this new year and soon the holidays will be upon us again. So, how is everyone doing today? It is Friday and the weekend is here again. Do you have any plans for the weekend? I plan on sitting here and writing my next book.

Our checks got screwed up this month because the agent we went down to see got our account number wrong and now we have to wait until the bank sends it back and then for the Social Security Administration to resend it, so it could be a week before we see our money and that means all of our bills are going to be rejected at the bank which is going to cause all kinds of fees. We could be so lucky. :(

Last night I sat here and gathered all my information for our nonprofits new program and started putting together a grant proposal. It will take a lot of work but I believe it to be a huge benefit to the community. It would be one giant step to assist the homeless in getting off the streets and becoming self-sufficient. I have created a crowdfunding account and hopefully, we will begin getting donors to help us fund this project.

Other than that, it has been raining here in Dalton, Georgia for several days and it is still raining. It is one of those days where you just want to stay in bed and sleep. My husband went back to bed, the dogs are sleeping with him, and I am sitting here getting some things done. I have to play catch up on a couple days as far as the certain things that needed to be done.

Basically, it is just writing a short story for an erotica book I am working on, a couple of articles that need to be submitted, some editing on one of my books to get it ready for publishing, and then a short story for another book which will become a freebie in exchange for an email address.

Then the rest of what day I have left will be my free time, but I don't know what that is, lol. A writer's life is never dull and boring, nor is it never finished because there is always something to do or finish.

Well, time to get started so that I can get everything completed. I wish everyone a happy and safe Friday and a very "Happy Birthday" to everyone that was born on this date. Take care and do something nice for someone less fortunate today.
