3/1/2019

Happy March to everyone! We are already three months into this new year and soon the holidays will be upon us again. So, how is everyone doing today? It is Friday and the weekend is here again. Do you have any plans for the weekend? I plan on sitting here and writing my next book.

Our checks got screwed up this month because the agent we went down to see got our account number wrong and now we have to wait until the bank sends it back and then for the Social Security Administration to resend it, so it could be a week before we see our money and that means all of our bills are going to be rejected at the bank which is going to cause all kinds of fees. We could be so lucky. :(

Last night I sat here and gathered all my information for our nonprofits new program and started putting together a grant proposal. It will take a lot of work but I believe it to be a huge benefit to the community. It would be one giant step to assist the homeless in getting off the streets and becoming self-sufficient. I have created a crowdfunding account and hopefully, we will begin getting donors to help us fund this project.

Other than that, it has been raining here in Dalton, Georgia for several days and it is still raining. It is one of those days where you just want to stay in bed and sleep. My husband went back to bed, the dogs are sleeping with him, and I am sitting here getting some things done. I have to play catch up on a couple days as far as the certain things that needed to be done.

Basically, it is just writing a short story for an erotica book I am working on, a couple of articles that need to be submitted, some editing on one of my books to get it ready for publishing, and then a short story for another book which will become a freebie in exchange for an email address.

Then the rest of what day I have left will be my free time, but I don't know what that is, lol. A writer's life is never dull and boring, nor is it never finished because there is always something to do or finish.

Well, time to get started so that I can get everything completed. I wish everyone a happy and safe Friday and a very "Happy Birthday" to everyone that was born on this date. Take care and do something nice for someone less fortunate today.

2/22/2019

Good morning all. it is six forty this morning and forty-four degrees outside and wet. It has been raining since yesterday and it makes for a very wet day today. I have been up and down most of the night and finally decided to get up at six. I am having my first cup of coffee with my husband who has slept most of the night.

Today will be a good day since I am getting an early start to my day. I will be finishing off my book that I have been trying to get finished all week, but other things popped up like my back room was in chaos and I just can't function when there is chaos. I will also be getting a short story for the site done today and some marketing.

I lost a day somewhere because I thought today was Saturday until I looked at my calendar. I do that every now and then. I get so tied up in getting things done and with my broken sleep, I lose a day and sometimes I have lost two days.

Today I am going to stay positive and look to the future for better things. The past has held me long enough and it is time to kick the past in the butt and move on to better things. Everyone all through my life has always put me down and made me feel lower than dirt, but today I take my life back and I will do what I need to do in order to make a better future.

I have many stories that need to be told and I want everyone reading my books. Very soon I will be able to pay for marketing ads, but right now I have to stay with free advertising which is still good. I think that most of my books could sell themselves just with the story itself.

Well, in closing I would like to send my thoughts and prayers out to those who are living outside. May they be safe, fed, and warm. If you would like to assist my organization in helping the homeless regain their self-sufficiency please make a donation here.

2/15/2019

Good morning everyone. It is six twelve in the morning and fifty-two degrees outside here in Dalton, Georgia with cloudy skies. I have been awake and up since about three thirty this morning because I went to bed early last night. I feel pretty rested since taking this new medicine, but I could go back to sleep if I chose to.

My husband has been up since about four thirty and is having coffee with me while the dogs are in the other room eating and going potty outside. I began cleaning our room yesterday and just finished organizing my desk to make it more manageable.

It will be pretty busy for me today because I have several articles to write in order to catch up on them. I am almost done writing my current book and pushing it into the editing stage with the other. I am excited to get them published and seeing them in physical form. I haven't decided on a cover yet for either of them and need to get it in gear.

I don't know what my husband has planned for today, but I will be writing and taking care of some writing stuff. I also need to clean the back room and reorganize it because it looks like a cluster f***. The dogs are enjoying chewing things up back there or taking things out the back door and playing with it in the backyard. They are little rascals if you ask me, but they are too cute.

I will be getting on the treadmill today and starting my journey of getting back to health and fit to do my charity walk. I spoke to my primary care doctor about it and she is excited for me. She stated that she would be honored to give me a physical around August thirty- first and sign off allowing me to do the walk unless she feels it will be too much.

So my training begins today and I will have six months to build up my endurance and lose some weight to become fit enough for this walk. Cleaning the house every day will help with the weight loss and keeping my sugar down where it is supposed to be.

My doctor is also putting me on the insulin pump, for now, to help regulate my sugar. She is willing to do whatever it takes to help me reach my goal for this walk. I appreciate anyone who will help me. I have some support here as well in the form of young adult girls. They are my cheerleading squad, lol.

Well, it is time for me to get to writing since it is now seven o'clock and the sun hasn't even come up yet, but I want to wish everyone a safe and blessed Friday. "Happy Birthday" to everyone born on this date and may you be blessed with many more. Don't forget to show your support of the homeless regaining their self-sufficiency by purchasing a book or making a monetary donation to PayPal.

"Happy Valentine's Day!" How is everyone this morning? I just got up and I am drinking my first cup of coffee. It is seven forty-six in the morning and thirty-four degrees outside. My husband and I are the only ones awake in the house and I feel pretty rested even though I was up a few times last night. I took the new medication that was prescribed by my doctor last night for bedtime and it kept me asleep most of the night and I feel rested now and not so groggy.

I have my primary care doctor appointment this morning to do a checkup and get refills of my diabetes medications. I am still having an issue with high blood sugars because of the epidural procedure I had, but it is coming down slowly. My first cup of coffee tastes so good this morning and warming me up. I had my husband put the dogs outside to go potty so that I could get a chance to wake up and enjoy my coffee since they are my babies they want momma's attention the minute I wake up.

For my daily stuff today, I will be doing some grant research after I take care of my everyday stuff. The new schedule I came up with works better so that I am not sitting at my computer all day and night. Everything gets done and I still have time to spend with my husband and dogs which is nice.

I have changed my cover pictures on most of my sites to include all published books so far. Hopefully, as long as everything goes right, I should be publishing a new one sometime next week. That is very exciting for me and I love putting my stories out there.

I can't state this enough, but every book that is sold, a quarter of the royalties go to my nonprofit charity to help the homeless regain their self-sufficiency and assist in ending hunger. I feel very passionate about this cause and I hope that everyone would join me in the fight against hunger and poverty.

If you don't want to buy a book, there are PayPal buttons on each site to make a donation to. This is a worldwide issue that needs to be addressed. Here in America, our homeless are being put in jails because of where they sleep or hang out. Our society sees them as an eyesore and Mayors are pushing and forcing them out of cities and into counties so that they won't have to deal with them, which to me is unfair, but who am I to judge our politicians for their work.

Anyway, let's stand together and help the situation instead of pushing it aside. I will end this post here and wish everyone a beautiful day and a very "Happy Birthday" to those celebrating today. May you have many more to come. Take care and be blessed.

2/9/2019

Good morning everyone! it is five ten in the morning here in Dalton, Georgia and a whopping twenty-three degrees outside, brrr! It really doesn't feel that cold outside. I let the dogs out to go potty and had no shoes on or jacket and it felt quite nice for a cold morning. I have been up since three o'clock because I went to bed right after dinner last night.

I spent Thursday night doing a sleep study which they kept me for more testing yesterday due to some issues with my heart beating faster while I was asleep and that I never hit REM sleep at all through the whole study. I made it to stage three a couple of times, but never went into REM sleep.

I feel refreshed right now and that is why I am up so early and getting an early start on everything. I will be finishing my schedule today. We don't have anywhere to go today so I can sit and get a lot done. My husband just woke up and I gave him his first cup of coffee which I already had mine and now I am on my diet soda which won't raise my sugar.

I went through with my epidural on Thursday morning and it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. It has numbed up some of the pain I feel in my lower back and the medication I am taking is helping with my neck and shoulders, so I do have some relief right now.

I have some calls to make on Monday and some other stuff to do on the side today but it will not interfere with my scheduled stuff. I am highly motivated this morning to get things going and completed. Today is a fresh new day and I am full of positivity.

My husband and I just discussed the idea of a charity walk for the homeless like the one I did back in 2010. I now have a goal to reach in order to have the health to do this so I now have something to work towards. I am excited now. Well, let me get this published so that I can publish my other post on my charity site. "Happy Birthday" to everyone who was born on this date, and may you all have a blessed day. Take care.

2/6/2019

Good morning everyone. it is twelve fifty-one in the afternoon and overcast outside with a temperature of sixty-eight. I am loving this nice temperature and I am feeling pretty good today. I got up this morning and cleaned the back room and carpet, then our room got cleaned, and finally, I washed up the dishes and cleaned the kitchen. Now, I am ready to get some writing done.

I am still a little behind as far as short stories for a book, but I am current on articles and a little behind on book writing today but I will catch up some today. I am looking forward to publishing some new books to add to my collection.

Tomorrow is my epidural on my lower back and hopefully, I will be able to function after that because I need to keep working on my books to stay updated on my schedule. I love writing and telling stories so I will keep publishing books.

It is "hump day" so I know a lot of you are champing at the bit for the weekend to get here. I am not because I have to get these books done. My goal today is to stay on top of my book writing and now my sugar wants to drop below a hundred so I need to get off of here and take care of that. I wish everyone a blessed day and happy thoughts. "Happy Birthday" to everyone born on this date and may you have many more. Take care.

Good morning everyone near and far. It is nine twenty-four in the morning and twenty-three degrees outside here in Dalton, Georgia. I have not been awake long and the dogs are outside going potty while I drink my first cup of coffee. My husband is also awake and having coffee with me. I am sitting here planning out my day and looking over my schedule to see what needs to be done.

I figured out our finances real quick and now I am ready to move on to the day's events. I have looked over my writing schedule and I am still on track with that and everything looks good. I have my day planned and I will remain positive for this year with the hopes that everything works through to our favor. Book sales have been down, but I know they will bounce back.

I have two books in the middle of editing one and adding more to the word count on the other but I am still on schedule to have them finished soon. I look forward to publishing books and getting my stories out to the world. It is the one true thing that makes me happy, aside from helping the homeless.

My husband just fell back to sleep which makes it quiet again while I post this. My goals are on track with everything and it looks good so far. In a few months, we will begin working on our new house and getting it built which is exciting for me. We get to build it the way we want it to look and I am excited.

Well, since I got up a little late, I need to get going on getting other things done for the day. I still have some candles that need to be finished for the weekend as well. I hope everyone has a special day and be blessed. "Happy Birthday" to everyone born on this date and may you have many more. Take care and do something nice for someone else today. Pay it forward.

Cellarium (Rough Draft)

There is an unknown place deep in the forest of Bocka where creatures great and small reside. Tall luscious green trees and aromatic flowers are everywhere. Animals play and forage under the tall green canopy. You can look up and see strange birds perched on high limbs and rabbits on the grass-carpeted ground hopping away. It is so beautiful here that you are mesmerized by its appearance.
It is peaceful and tranquil that it captures any visitor passing through or along its edges. No one knows what lies within and none have traveled so deep inside. What creatures inhabit this wonderful forest? There is a dirt path that leads deep inside this amazing place.
There was a man named Agnacious who was a world traveler and currently on his way home from his latest travels. He had walked and ventured many miles and still had many more to go before reaching his wife and three children who looked forward to him coming home bearing gifts of his travels.
His path to home from where he came led him by this mysterious forest. As much as he did not want to look, he could not help himself because it was something he had not seen in years. The world was desolate and almost extinct, so to see something so green, fresh, and beautiful took every man’s attention.
As he looked down along the edge, it seemed to go on for at least a mile. He tried so hard to just pass it by and think of his family waiting for him. The thoughts were not strong enough when he came across the dirt path that led inside. Upon looking down the path that stretched inside and disappeared into the distance, it seemed to Agnacious how a forest that only stretched about a mile would have a path that led deeper in than a mile.
With all his might and strength, Agnacious tried to repel his thoughts and curiosity about what could be in this blossoming but strange forest. As he stood at the edge of the path that led inside, he noticed that it was getting later in the day and that he needed to get moving on his way home, but it called to him like a siren to a sailor. He could not get past the thought of what he would find inside and convinced himself that he would just arrive a day later than planned to his family.
As he traveled down the dirt path, he finds animals that have never been seen before. Some fat, thin, tall, short, hairy and bald. Some are weird looking and some so cute. It is amazing that this place exists without the hand of humans destroying something so beautiful.
Deeper into its womb Agnacious comes to hear a waterfall so great. Once he arrives at the base of this great waterfall, he sees that it is one-hundred feet tall with a rainbow through its mist. As his eyes look at this awesome sight, he can’t help but see deer and horses drinking from the other side of the river.
They are so gracious and proud. The deer’s horns are magnificent, a twelve point, he thinks. This gracious and kind animal has a body that is strong with a doe’s eyes. The horse is spectacular the way it stands so proud and confident. What amazing beasts they are.
As Agnacious walks along the river’s edge from the great and mighty waterfall with its foams so fluffy and white, he sees how the top of the river is glass-like and calm. He looks over the edge into it and sees rather large golden fish and many other multi-colored as well. It looks as if they stare at him wanting to jump out and give him a kiss with those pursed-up lips.
Farther down the way, Agnacious sees many more different creatures and even ones that fly away. There is something in the distance hidden by the foliage. The river runs under the brush and straight to whatever is on the other side. He begins pushing his way through the bushes and trees taking note of the large roots that stick up from the ground.
Pushing back the few tree limbs, Agnacious’ eyes see an amazing city caressed by a stone mountain. There are people he can see and with curiosity, he travels towards it. He thinks these are humans and that they will welcome him. They take human form but are more than human.
Agnacious arrives at a great wall with gates made from tree trunks and laced with green leaves. He has not been seen yet but knocks on the gate once. Then twice. Before his now swollen hand knocks a third time, the gate is opened. There stands what should be a human, but has tall pointed ears, a thin nose, and large blossoming eyes.
They ask, “what do you want, human”? Agnacious stumbles for words but cannot find any to speak. He has been taken back by his appearance. The gatekeeper catches Agnacious off-guard. He finally utters the words before he closes the gate, “what is this place”? “This is Cellarium, the great city of elves”, he replied. Again, Agnacious is mystified by his answer and wants to know more about this city built in a stone wall. “May I come in and see the city?”, he asked. The elf looked at him and asked, “what for?”
Agnacious could hardly keep his excitement to a minimum and replied, “I want to see this fantastic city”. The elf told him to hold on while he closed the gate to get word to Bertok, the ruler of Cellarium, that they had a visitor. While waiting Agnacious turned around and looked over this magical place. He saw the river flowing freely and the animals that are caravanning by the other edge.

When the gate began to open, it frightened Agnacious and he lost his words again. The elf opening the gate waves for him to come in. Now, he is inside this place of beauty and wonder. He sees elves everywhere and he thinks his eyes can’t get any wider.

1/14/2019

Good evening everyone. Today was a better day than lately. Once I got up this morning, it was off to a doctors appointment for my husband and then we stopped by the new pain management office I have submitted to for pain meds. It has taken about a week but I finally have an appointment for next week. I have been out of meds since Friday morning and the pain has been bad enough to keep me from sleeping and being able to function during the day.

Once we got home, it was back into the back room to finish going through our personal belongings to see what we are able to keep and what must be sold to pay bills that are owed for this month. It is hard having to give away everything we worked so hard to get, but if it means us being happy, out of debt for good, and on our way to our future, then, we must do what needs to be done.

I watched a sermon this evening that sent chills and the hair on my arms to stand and almost broke me to tears. God is breaking us from the old selves that we have been caught up in and making way for the new us to begin. He is taking and destroying what evil is putting into our lives and holding us and making room for what He has for our lives. I cannot wait.

My faith has been keeping me strong all these years and now when it is being threatened, God is renewing it and making me strong again. We have had to make some decisions, but it is for the better for our future to grow. It is hard for me to bring it to mind that it is happening all over again, but we will be fine because we will be together. It will not be the first time we have had to lose everything, but it will be the last time.

It will take us the rest of this week to finish sorting through everything, plus for me to make the large candles for the flea market. I find it relaxing to do arts and crafts and even writing, but the way things have gone on lately with me mentally, writing has been far from my mind. I want to write and finish these books, but I have a lack of motivation due to the circumstances surrounding us.

My pain has taken a lot out of me and lack of sleep because of it, and I need to get past the pain to move forward. My husband has been there and then not been there because of taking care of other things. He was completely in the dark about things until I finally broke them down to him and made him understand that we will always be in debt and having financial problems if we don't fix and change some things.

I know it will still take a few more days for it to all sink in his head and for him to fully understand, and I can wait for him to understand. It will be a two load trip to the flea market to get all our stuff there and I am hoping to sell most if not at least half of it this weekend. Two of our bills are due to be paid Wednesday and we have nothing to pay them so the flea market money will help.

I have just taken my bed medication and hopefully that will help me sleep tonight, if not, I will be working on my books as well as I can with my pain level being high to keep me awake. This time, I took a muscle relaxer to see if that helps me sleep.

Well, I guess I am going to go lay down and see if I can fall asleep. I haven't had much sleep since Friday and it has taken a toll on my body. So I will bid everyone a good night and a blessed one. "Happy Birthday" to everyone who celebrated one today. Take care.

1/6/2019

Good morning to all. It is six forty-seven this morning and thirty-five degrees outside right now. The high today will be sixty-five and mostly sunny. My husband and I are up this morning to take some things to the local flea market to sell. I was up late last night making candles and we have some other things as well, but it is time to start bringing in money for Hope Station to assist us in feeding the hungry.

I am on my first cup of coffee and I have been up and down since about four o'clock. The dogs are all still asleep all over the bed and my husband has been up since five-thirty playing video games and drinking coffee. I will be taking my books to the flea market today as well and passing out business cards both as an author and as the President/Founder of Hope Station USA.

I was so motivated yesterday and amped up that you could not tell me anything and I was just flying around here getting things done. I am about another twenty-five hundred words from having my next book done which will get done today and then the editing begins. I have another work in progress that is already fifteen thousand words and I will be working on it next to have it finished this coming week.

I am finding my passion for writing again and I truly love being able to express myself through my writing and telling the world my stories. Sometimes it feels good to have the world see things through my eyes and mind.

Well, it is time to get going so we can make the flea market in time to get a good spot. I hope everyone has a blessed day and "Happy Birthday" to those born on this date. Take care.

1/5/2019

Good morning everyone. It is eight o'clock in the morning and thirty-seven degrees outside. I have been up since about four o'clock due to going to bed early last night. I have had my two cups of coffee and fed the dogs a little bit ago. My husband just got up about six-thirty and has had his two cups of coffee and is now playing his new video game that he got yesterday.

I have been writing on one of my books this morning and should have it complete and ready for editing by noon today. I should begin working on another in progress after that and hopefully have it done in a few days. I am back in gear with motivation for writing and yesterday I just got a copy of two of my newest books which everyone likes the covers and my husband thinks that they are awesome.

I am on schedule so far this morning and will be waiting a little while longer before attempting my house chores for the day. I plan on doing a lot of writing today and waiting for another article I wrote yesterday to be approved and published on a site that I write stories for.

I am feeling pretty good this morning and ready to get in gear with my writing but wanted to say good morning to all you wonderful people this morning. "Happy Saturday!" The weekend is finally here and I am ready. If everything goes well this weekend, I could have both books done and ready for editing come Monday. I could only wish. 😀

Today looks bright for my writing today and I hope everyone is enjoying their copies of my latest books. I enjoyed writing the stories and living life through them. I become a part of my stories while writing them and can feel and see the action in my head. Of course, I don't fluff them up with big words because I want every one of every reading level to be able to enjoy them.

Today will be a good day for me. I have a few other non-writing things to get done on my to-do list but they are minor things to everyone else but large important things to me. I have to get them done to help my nonprofit move forward. It is a new year and new things need to be done. This year, I plan on hitting most if not all my goals and making it a better year.

Well, time to get to work. I hope everyone has an awesome day and a prosperous one. "Happy Birthday" to everyone born on this date and may you have many more. Take care.

1/4/2019

Hello everyone. How are you doing today? It is twelve twenty this afternoon and fifty-six degrees outside here in Dalton, Georgia. The sun has been showing its face every now and then but it is mild weather outside which is a big difference from all the rain we have been getting. We are in river flooding stage which I'm guessing more rain is on the way.

I have been up for a couple hours now and still working on my second cup of coffee with a few minor aches going on. Today is a day full of writing. I just published another article on the vocal site yesterday and I will be working on another one today to get published. I am ready to do a lot of writing and getting some of my goals met this weekend.

My husband left a little while ago to go and pick up some of my medications and to run a few errands. I stayed home so that I can get some things done in peace and quiet with no interruptions. I have a lot of things to do and my mindset is to get a lot of them done today or started. After my husband comes home if I need to I will put on my headphones so that I can still have the peace and quiet to get my writing done.

I still have a few things that are unrelated to writing to get done and I also need to figure out how to get everything done and my writing too. I have a nonprofit that needs some of my attention too in order to get up and running. I am waiting for the lunch hour to get finished in order to call a doctor to find out if they received my medical records so that I can make an appointment before running out of medication.

I am sorry to be jumbling and rambling on there is just so much that is going on in my head that needs to get organized and ready to get done. I need to get out my to-do list paperwork and start jotting notes down so that I can write and remember everything and get it organized. My mind is actually working overtime right now on important things and pushing the smaller things aside.

I have paperwork that needs to be gone through and organized as well as files need to get straightened out. There is so much to do and it feels like there is not enough time in a day to get everything done. I feel like I am speed typing this post just to get it done and to update everyone on my progress.

My incisions from surgery are healing up nicely and right now there is just a lot of itching because of the healing. I have not had any accidents since surgery and the urgency has quieted down immensely. I now feel the urges to go to the bathroom which I have not felt in a year and the need to go has calmed down. I am happy with my progress and my quality of life has improved.

Well, it is time to get things going so I will leave you with my blessings and wishes for a great Friday and a safe and happy weekend. I want to say "Happy Birthday" to everyone born on this date and may you have many more to come. Take care and God Bless.

12/28/2018

Hello everyone. How are you today? I am doing pretty good so far today. I am still battling with a cold but because I am diabetic it takes me a little longer to get over things. I am taking medicine and doing my breathing treatments which are helping. The coughing has been keeping me up at night so I went and got some night time medicine to help suppress the coughing at night.

It is rainy and wet here in Dalton, Georgia and I am waiting for our first snow to happen so that I can watch all our dogs go out and play in it. My neck and shoulder are hurting again today and I need to make an appointment with the doctor to get medication for pain.

I am getting closer to finishing my next fantasy novella which is at approximately seventeen thousand words and still two days worth of writing to go. I am having fun with it and the conflict is just about to begin in the story. It is elves and ogres against each other. It would be considered a young reader story but also for everyone else.

I am doing some writing after posting this and I have a few other things around the house to get done as well. I have a couple short stories that I have to write as well, one for a book and one article for a site that I publish on. I love writing and it is truly my passion.

I am anxious for the new year to get here which is in a couple more days and hopefully everything will be new coming with it. I have all of my lists and schedules ready and can't wait. So, let me get off here and get to writing my stories. I hope everyone has a safe and blessed Friday. "Happy Birthday" to everyone that was born on this date and may you have many more. Take care.

12/25/2018

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone! I just woke up not too long ago and still getting my motivation together. I hope everyone is enjoying opening their gifts this morning from Santa? I wish we could have had a Christmas this year, but I will be saving all year next year for it so that we have a very nice Christmas.

I began working on getting all my lists and sheets ready for the new year last night so that I will be ready for January first. I am a list person and that is what keeps me going. I would not know what to do if it weren't for lists. I guess you could say that I would be stuck in a rut not knowing what to do or what had to be done.

Well, I can hear one of my roommates in the kitchen cooking and she will be doing the cooking for today's dinner. I hope everyone else will have a nice Christmas dinner to eat. Get nice and full and then think on what today means to you. To me, it is a day to remember family and how lucky we are to have them and that it was a day that my Lord and Savior was born in a manger so many years ago.

Well, today I will begin getting back into my routine and starting my writing again for the site and putting short stories together for a freebie book. I now have the time to get things done and while working my routine, everything will get done. I am excited about having one of my books published last week and look forward to publishing another one soon.

Well, it is time to get some other things done while I still have time. I want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a "Happy Birthday" to those celebrating one today. May you all have many more to come. Take care.

12/3/2018

Hello everyone. It is five forty-two in the evening here in Dalton, Georgia and fifty-three degrees outside which brings a beautiful day to a close. I, first, want to ask for prayers for the Dailey Family who lost their father early this morning. I was with him all day yesterday and up until his passing this morning. He was a man who lived a full life and passed at the age of seventy-two to go be with his wife who passed away three years ago yesterday. Please forward your thoughts and prayers their way. It has been a blessing to know this man and his family and he will always be in my thoughts and prayers as he journey's to be with the Lord.

After his passing this morning, I was able to go to bed and get some sleep since I had been up with him for twenty-four hours. Now, after a time of remembrance, I can begin a new day with achieving my goals and aspirations. He has been an inspiration to me even though we shared some disagreements, but I still had a love for him in my heart.

Tomorrow is a new day, and with it comes new hopes and dreams for a better future. I plan on getting back on schedule with everything in the morning and you will be seeing my writing pop up everywhere and I have plans to make a podcast and a Youtube video every week reading some of my works and giving updates on what is going on with me so that my readers can put a face with a name.

I want people to know that I am a real person with real problems but love to share my stories with the world. I also have a nonprofit assisting the homeless to become self-sufficient that I will be doing some stuff for and creating a new program to help out more. Everything has been a cluster f*** lately and my world has been tossed upside down with health issues and conditions, but I am slowly getting things back on track so that my family can move forward.

Right now, my husband is taking a nap and the dogs are snuggled with him while I sit here writing this post. The only light on is my desk lamp which makes it calmer for me to concentrate on things and my writing. I have fallen behind by a couple of weeks on my writing and will be playing some major catch up in the next few weeks to keep things moving forward.

Our finances are straightened out for right now and I am working to keep them that way. Somehow, I got thrown off with bills this month and thought that I would have some money to publish my next book, but again, bills took precedence and I cannot afford it right now. We are not even going to be able to afford Christmas this year again.

I almost want to just give up on the holidays because we have not had a Christmas in a couple of years, but come hell or high water my babies will get some things this year. I have not been able to buy any new clothes in a couple of years and anything different that I get to wear is a hand me down from someone else. Last month, I was able to buy us a package of socks each.

Times have been hard and I try to stay optimistic and positive, just like I have been trying to get books sold just to add to our income with no luck because I don't have money for marketing expenses and push out free advertising where I can. I hope that this new year will be different. I have tried posting on some crowdfunding sites which never gives me any return even after offering any funders a copy of the book published.

Well, enough venting for now. I wish everyone a happy and blessed week and evening. "Happy Birthday" to all those celebrating one today and may you have many more to come. Take care.

12/1/2018

"Happy First Day of December Everyone!" What a wonderfully mild day here in Dalton, Georgia with it lightly raining outside. I just got finished with the house chores and the reason I am running late today is that we were up until about one o'clock this morning checking on my roommate's dad because he had been asleep most of the day and his blood pressure was running dangerously low so we kept monitoring it.

I got up at my regular time and went to check on him and his blood pressure was back up a little bit, but I was tired so I laid back down and slept for a few hours more. I got up and checked it about nine this morning and he was back up safe enough to give him his medication and we have been tending to him, a house full of kids and adults, and trying to get the cleaning done. I am still doing laundry and should hopefully have it all done by tomorrow.

Later today we will be putting him in his lift while we change his bed sheets before dinner, but he is being well taken care of. Now, I can sit and get some of my stuff done while his daughter and son are in there, but I will still have to go check on him and administer his pain medication as long as his blood pressure is safe enough.

I will be getting an article written and a short story for a "freebie book" to give out, but I am swamped with book writing also. Well, I need to get started before it gets too late. I hope everyone has a blessed Saturday and "Happy Birthday" to all of you with a birthday today. May you all be blessed. Take care.

11/30/2018

Good morning everyone. It is eight thirty-nine here in Dalton, Georgia and fifty degrees outside. How are you readers doing today? I am feeling pretty good today and looking forward to the day. I can now get back on my routine and schedule now that my roommates' dad is home now with Hospice care which will be a great help to me.

I have to take my husband to the doctor this morning for his back procedure and then it is home to start the cleaning process before getting on my computer and beginning my writing schedule. I have a lot of things to do today and the fact that I am on here a little late is okay too.

While I am waiting at the doctor's office for my husband, I will be taking my computer so that I can work on some of my books. He usually takes about an hour so that will give me about sixteen hundred words towards my book word count.

I have several manuscripts started and just need to get them done so they can go to the editor for final proofing before publishing. Two of them are over twenty thousand words. I can't wait. Well, I need to make this a quick getaway because I have things to do and a lot of them.

I wish everyone a sweet day and happy Friday. "Happy Birthday" to everyone with a birthday today. Take care.

11/29/2018

Good morning everyone. It is thirty-two degrees here in Dalton, Georgia and gloomy looking outside. Brrr! We are all awake in the house and our roommate has company over already this morning. My husband and I are having our first cup of coffee and trying to wake up. There are no plans today of going anywhere which is good because then I can concentrate on my writing.

I have spent a few minutes with each of my dogs so that they can get their loving time this morning. I make it a point every morning to make sure they get some attention one on one with me. Now everyone is loved on and comfortable and laying around except my husband just got up and got dressed for the day.

My goals for the day are to get things cleaned up around here now that I have some help and then get to my writing. I have some writing goals that need to be met today and I have to get ready for my next book publishing which should be within the next couple of weeks. I will be sending my manuscript to the editor this weekend and hopefully, it is good enough for publishing.

Other than that, things look good for today and we just got word that his dad is coming home shortly. I have gotten his paperwork done for his care and I am now ready for everything. I should be finishing these other two books that I have been working on over the course of the next week and have them ready for the editor. Things look good on my end.

I will be getting our Christmas tree tomorrow and getting it decorated then back to writing my books. Well, I hope everyone has an awesome day the weekend is almost here. I want to wish everyone with a birthday today, "Happy Birthday" and may you have many more. Take care.

11/28/2018

Brrr! Good morning everyone. It is almost six o'clock in the morning here in Dalton, Georgia and also seventeen degrees outside, but I feel the same temperature here in my back room while typing this so you can imagine how winterized I am posting this. I kept my dogs in the bedroom where it is warm while I come to get some work done out here.

I feel wide awake this morning and should be snuggled up in bed with my husband and dogs but I have slacked off a few days because of holidays. This morning my husband has a back procedure so I need to be able to drive him home and then it will be right back to my routine and schedule. My roommates' dad comes home from the hospital tomorrow and that will be awesome because he missed Thanksgiving but we made a plate to take to him.

I have a nice hot cup of coffee here with me to keep me a little warmer on the inside so the cold is tolerable. This goes to show my passion and dedication for writing to be sitting in a room that is seventeen degrees cold. I will survive because my motivation keeps me warm.

After posting this for today, I will be working on an article for another site and then on to writing in my books. I look forward to finishing the ones I have started and I already have one ready for the editor to do the final editing and then it is off to publishing it. It is the first book in a series of four books and I think everyone will like them.

I am excited about publishing them and I make them easy reads without all those big words and fluff. I love telling stories just how they come out of my mind. I also live in the story while writing it. Which means I tell the story as I see it going on around me.

Well, it is time for me to get busy and get some other stuff done and I need a refill on my coffee. I hope everyone has a wonderful day and a blessed one. "Happy Birthday" to those whose birthday is today as well. Take care until tomorrow.

11/26/2018

Good morning everyone. "Happy Monday!" It is five o'clock in the morning here and it is forty-seven degrees with the wind blowing hard and howling. I woke up and feel awake and can't go back to sleep. I know today starts my schedule and routine again now that Thanksgiving is gone and look forward to it. I hate being thrown off my schedule because it feels like chaos and that I have no control.

My husband is still asleep and the dogs have been outside and are back in the bed with him comfy and warm. It is not so cold here in the backroom so I am okay to sit here and write. I have my first cup of coffee and it tastes so good. I am typing this post and thinking about my day and what it entails.

I began writing on one of my books again last night and I am hopeful to have it finished by the first of the month. I will still be one book behind, but I will find time to write on it and keep up with my current book writing schedule. I am happy to be back writing and getting my books up on Amazon. I feel a sense of accomplishment and it feels good.

I have seen some book sales but I know that the more books I get published, the better the income will get. I do have some physical copies here to send to people who purchase my books from this website that are signed by my own hand. My audiobooks are doing pretty good as well.

I have done the budget for next month and it seems we will be back on track and not be in debt. We will actually be able to start paying some bills off which will lower our monthly bills going out. I can finally breathe again and not stress out so much from our finances.

I have begun working on our nonprofit and getting things going with it again and that makes me happy. I love helping people who need it and the nonprofit is the baby that I gave birth to. Going out and feeding the homeless and giving them the things they need to survive and helping them get jobs is a passion for me because I was once out there where they are and no one would help me.

Anyway, I need to get going on working my schedule early today because I have a doctor's appointment later today and I don't want to get behind on my schedule. I hope everyone has a wonderful Monday and a blessed one. To those having a birthday today, "Happy Birthday" and may you have many more. Take care.
