Hello everyone and "Happy Sunday". It is so beautiful outside and the temperature is not so cold. I love it. I have been working so hard lately on my addictions book that I am right there at the end of it. The goal was to have it done by the last night of January, but because other people want me on their schedule and doing things for them instead of me, it has pushed my book off a few days, but it will be done today, I guarantee it.
I have a slight headache and it is making it a bit difficult to manage writing on the computer, but I am a strong woman and headstrong to boot. I have goals and I will complete my goals with the thought that if no one likes it they can kiss my rear end. I am living life wearing a mask to play out a character that makes everyone else happy but me.
I cannot be myself in the situation we are in and I regret moving back here to live miserably. When we do take a trip back to the property, I feel so much joy and happiness, but when we leave to come back here, tensions rise and then we start arguing and it can get pretty bad to where one of us wants to throw the towel in and say to hell with it all.
Well, it is time to get the ball rolling on my writing. I still have a little bit of stuff to put into the book and then I can begin the editing and formatting. I have taken care of the dogs and got them set for a while and now it is time for me to get the job I started done. I am supposed to be two days into my next book, but thankfully, I have written almost one chapter of it, so I just need to read it and get back into the story.
I hope that everyone has a blessed day and look for my new book to be up on Amazon soon. It is full of a lot of information that can help everyone. "Happy Birthday" to all of you who have turned another year older today and may you be blessed with many more to come. Please keep the homeless in your thoughts and prayers because they need us. Take care.

hello everyone. It is almost twelve-thirty in the afternoon and cloudy outside. It is not really cold, but a little chilly here in Dalton, Georgia. I have been sick for the past few days and I went to see my doctor yesterday and she gave me antibiotics for any bacterial infections, but she thinks that my sinus and head cold are possibly viral. She is also treating my stomach issue for diabetic gastroparesis. Everything that I eat, causes issues a couple hours later and it doesn't matter what I eat or how little I eat.
My face was swollen last night on the right side with my sinuses inflamed and irritated. It hurt so much that I sat with an ice pack on my face just to numb it a little enough for me to go to sleep. It worked for a bit, but I still hurt going to sleep.
I woke up this morning with a clogged head but not so much swelling and pain in my face. I took all my meds this morning and even began taking Chantix to help me quit smoking. I am tired of cigarettes and how they taste but I can't seem to quit on my own. It is going to be a New Year's resolution to stop and so the first day of the year is my quit date. Please keep me in your prayers that I can quit.
Other than what I have mentioned, everything seems to be going okay. I have missed a few days of writing since being sick, but I am going to get things going today and hopefully get most things done on my list. I am a list person and can't seem to function without a list. I am also a person who can't function when there is chaos or drama.
so, let me get things moving forward and I hope that everyone has a great day and "Happy Birthday" to those who are a year older today. May you all have many more to come. Please keep the homeless in your thoughts and prayers and please remember before you judge that not everyone homeless is out there because of drugs or alcohol. that is just the coping mechanism for being homeless. Take care.

Hello everyone. It is a rainy Friday afternoon and the wind is howling. I have been up since around six-thirty and found out we finally got our food stamps after fighting with these people for a week over a stupid interview. So, I went shopping first thing this morning before everyone got up and the days' drama begins. Every day there is nothing but drama around here and it is no wonder that I stay to myself in my room because I want no part of it.

This is why we are moving up in the mountains away from all the drama and to keep my sanity. People feed off drama and I don't see how? I put drama into stories and books for others to read and enjoy. It is all gossip around here and in order for me to stay out of it, I have to hide away in my room.

Today will be a good day to write with the weather being gloomy and rainy. I plan on getting another article short story done, some writing done on my book, and my diabetic menu and journal need to be set up to start tomorrow. I was finally able to buy food today so that I could start the diet the doctor placed me on for my diabetes.

I have so many things to work on that my head spins for a minute, but then gets back to where it should be. I can only keep my mind on the future and that is living on our property and being healthy and happy.

Well, it is that time again to get going before I fall into fatigue and want a nap. I hope everyone has a blessed Friday and gets ready for their weekend. "Happy Birthday" to those of you who were born on this date and may you be blessed with many more. Take care.

Good morning to all. it is seven oh seven in the morning and forty-one degrees outside here in Dalton, Georgia. I have been up and down all night like usual, but I stayed up when it became five o'clock. I made the coffee and woke my husband up with a fresh hot cup of coffee. I only had one cup before I was on to something cold.

Today, he wants to go over to his sister's house because his niece is finally home from foster care and he wants to hang out with her for a few hours. So, I am stuck going because I don't want to be stuck without a car. I understand that it is a good thing that his niece is back home, but it is the drama I don't want to be involved in.

I told him I would go for a couple hours but then I have to come home because I have things of my own to get done like one of my books are scheduled to be done today. I get to work on and finish another work in progress starting tomorrow.

I am excited to have two books in the editing phase and almost ready for publishing. So far, I have five books published and lots more to come this year. My only issue right now is marketing. I don't have any money for paid marketing, and I have been working on free marketing just to get them out there.

Hopefully, I will have some money soon to buy ads, but I am not worried about it too much because I have placed my books here, there, and everywhere that is free to post them. I still have many places to go, but eventually, I will have paid marketing going.

My books are up on Amazon, eBay, and a few other places plus my website. I hope everyone gets a chance to read one of my published books. Twenty-five percent of all book royalties goes to my nonprofit to assist the homeless and needy in regaining their self-sufficiency. Twenty-five percent goes into taxes, another twenty-five percent goes into book expenses, and the last twenty-five percent goes to me.

I just finished writing another article this morning and have a few to write to catch back up to be on schedule for that. I am working my schedule nicely now and it gives me a little free time to enjoy my husband and dogs more.

Well, I need to get on to other things before we leave so I will wish everyone a blessed day and a "Happy Birthday" to anyone celebrating today. Take care.

Good Saturday morning to everyone. It is fifty-one degrees here in Dalton, Georgia and rainy with a side of gloomy. The dogs have been fed and are bundled up on the bed because it is cold back here. They are now quiet and I am allowed to get some work done. My babies are spoiled and always have to have momma's attention.

My husband went with our roommate to the flea market this morning and it gave me some quiet time. I am now on my second cup of coffee and thinking about how my day is going to go. I have ditched my schedule and went to a check-off list in return because it is almost impossible to get things done on a fixed time schedule when I could just get things done and check it off the list.

Today I will get back into writing but I am going to try an experiment with a timer. I will write for an hour on one book and see how many words I can type in an hour and that will give me a better time frame on how many words a book can be. Some of my books will be the length of a novella, and then I will have those that will be novel length.

My sales have not been great but they have been steady and constant which is okay. I am hoping that my sales will pick up during the holidays while I publish more books. I am not trying to get rich, I just want to supplement my income a little enough to live a little more relaxed.

I have two books that already have ten thousand words in them and they are not even close to being in the middle of the book yet. So, I know they will be long enough. I have a book that I am editing which is fifty-one thousand words and when I am done editing it before it goes to the editor it should still be about fifty thousand words.

I am happy writing and love when I can sit down and explore my imagination and be able to put it down on paper. It brings a part of me to life and I can live in my story where I control the outcomes and drama. It is a safe place for me to be when I am allowed to be there.

Well, it is time to get to work on something else and I wish for everyone to have a happy and safe Saturday. To those celebrating a birthday, "Happy Birthday" and may you have many more to come. Have a great day everyone and take care.

04/03/2018

Today has been such a free feeling for me. I have had nothing but stress and drama for the last few weeks outside of my own household. Today, I have been able to free myself from all that hinders me and my marriage. I am no longer responsible for people who don’t appreciate anything, want to control everything, greed for money and materialistic things, and drama filled lives. It was becoming such a burden on my life and mental health status that lots of bad things were beginning to happen within myself. I have put myself on hold for so long and doing for others, OUTSIDE of where we live, that it now feels like I can shed that old tired skin off and live life the way it was meant for living.
I do not speak for my husband, but I must refrain from associating with his side of the family to keep myself positive and moving forward. They live differently than what I am used to and have different values than my own. It seems that what is pleasing and satisfying to them, makes me feel like I am just stuck in a sphere or frozen state never moving forward and only being content with dullness. It seems that some of them only survive to take what they can get from others, sucking the very essence and life out of everyone around them.
I guess it is true that misery really does love company and they are a perfect example of that. No one can really be happy around them and it is liberating to be free from them and only being able to live and be happy as only I know how. Like I said, I cannot speak for my husband, and I will never keep him from them, but we have a better life ahead of us and God will be leading the way.
Now, on to better notes, I am regaining a piece of me that had hid for a few weeks not knowing when it would be safe to poke it’s head out and enjoy what life has to offer. I am shedding off hinderances and putting back up on the shelves childish things to use what God has given me. It has been a rollercoaster ride for the past few years with lots of family leaving this life and moving on to a better place without pain and sorrow. There are not too many of the elders left and when they are all gone it would be hard because of no one being there to answer my still sought-after questions of life and advice. The world is going to hell in a handbag and I refuse to sit around and let life pass me by.
Today, I begin writing again and exploring fantasy so I can escape from what ails me. Sometimes, it is good to get away and relax on that white sandy beach watching the white-capped waves as they roll in. I have been so distraught over life that I seriously need a break and will find that in my stories. One of my future books will change or be deleted because of family drama. Writing it would bring ill feelings and I don’t want to return to that negative place.
I hope everyone had an awesome Easter with family and friends and I will end this post here and bid everyone a good night. Before I go, I do want to send prayers out to someone I know who is in the hospital right now and for a speedy recovery because he is missed here at home. ðŸ™‚
